I've had my p20 for almost 2 years, if you change the animations to 0.5x and lock your most used apps in the ram (swipe down on apps in the recent apps menu) it feels super snappy and fast. And also, after nearly two years, i still easily get over a day of usage no matter how i use the phone. Its a really great phone considering the very cheap price. And the camera is no joke either. I do recommend!

And the performance is OK, I compare it to an iPhone 7, and while playing dead by daylight the iPhone is better, they lag around the same but the iPhone has top graphics while the p20 I set them on low, I can't on iphone nut works fine and today I got the emui 12 and it's interesting but idk why my battery charges so slow

SKHD true when u see the aged of the phones but if u compare the cpu power found in iPhone X. I believe its a fair fight plus its just a software tweak from huawei that make the phone faster than iPhone X. Not the cpu tho

Wow, after almost 2 years of using a Huawei P20 i can only say that I'm really impressed about what it can do... Good camera, nice display, super-fast charging (0-100 in less than 1h 30min)... Honestly, i don't really wanna change it :) Thanks Huawei😊

Only problem i have with my Huawei P20 Pro is its Selfie camera which is crap 💩 But overall im highly surprised by my P20 pro & very much happy with its excellent display, highly impressive camera, Best battery so far i have ever experienced from any smart phone It was very difficult decision for me to chose one from S9+ & P20 Pro & now im very happy that my decision to buy P20 pro was outstanding 🌙

I love my p20. When I first got it I wasnt very optimistic but now I am so happy with it my favourite aspect is the camera my photos now look professional as apposed to my rubbish photos on my iPhone 5 I would definitely recommend this phone!! The selfie camera is not very good but I don't usually take selfies 🤳 😂😂

Karlo Josip Kardum also what usually happens in these tests is how fast your on the home screen and not how fast the unlock is so with the iPhone the shouldn't count the swipe up bit

Loading of games and normal websites tends to filled with ads... Which is why android lags behind. IPhone has lesser ads which speed up load times. As for switching from a Web page to the KZbin app is probably due to extra verification that ios does before opening the related app. Games is only like 10% or less of equation. Battery life, storage and ram weighs in more for those mobile power users

You don’t have to hit power button to wake phone. Just double tap screen then hit camera icon. not sure why you were using power button to wake it up. Also, if you have raise to wake on, if you pull phone out of your pocket it will turn on and you just tap camera.

I have the Huawei P10 Lite which cost about £150. I'm not doing anything massively high powered with it (social media etc) and my friends compliment the camera quality constantly, and many of them are looking at getting it (or the full P10 which has got one of those dual cameras & more storage & RAM) because their iPhones are all dying out and they don't want to pay for upgrades. When I use their iPhones I can't say I notice much difference, despite the fact that their phones have cost five or six times as much. It's no wonder Huawei is outselling Apple back in China!

MashySobit hs 3D touch, a far better vibration motor and a more powerful processor. The iphone doesn’t need more ram because of the better optimization....at least that was the case until recently, the iphone X is horribly optimized for some reason.

Mate 10 user here. One big problem with huawei phones is when you close the screen for about more than 2 mins. All the apps you were using would have been closed or stopped.

Huawei is the GOAT of phones lately. I was only annoyed by one thing with the P20, which was the button on the front... Most dumb decision, but other than that they have more RAM, similar processor (iPhone X is faster for burst tasks) and a better camera.

Hello, Arun! I have the P20 and it really is a fast phone. However, it is also really laggy. It is not even close to a stock-like Android phone, even with a Snapdragon 625. Haven't you noticed any lag and just ridiculously broken animations when opening Messenger for example? Pinch to zoom in Instagram is just a joke too. I guess it may be because of the weird screen aspect ratio and the notch, but even when I switch the notch off, it still jumps all over the place, when opening Messenger. The only thing that keeps me from selling it, is the great camera, and the storage. I would definitely prefer to pick up a Pixel 2, but at least I got a bargain at 380 euros...

Phones nowadays are so fast, only by comparing them right next to each other can you tell the difference. The huawei didn't lag behind the iphone enough to make it a slow phone, and neither did the iphone behind the huawei. However, when it comes to the phones themselves, I prefer the huawei since it did a better job at the damn notch...
