Been doing every shoulder mobility stretch I can think of as well as strengthening my rotator cuffs every single day for almost 3 months and both shoulders still pop like crazy. Have had to completely stop bench press and any shoulder training in the gym. Really halted my progress.

@Ashly Nope, I'm glad I stopped working out and got it checked out. The popping was due to the tendon pinching between my bones and caused a degenerative tear in my rotator cuff. Gonna take 6 months to heal.

@@skinnypunch1475 Damn. I'm worried I have the same problem. How did your shoulder click? Mine clicks whenever I do overhead presses unless I keep the bar slightly in front of my hips, and you're not supposed to ohp that way. It's so fucking annoying. No pain though so that's good.

I've had shoulder clicking noises now for over six months from three broken bones in my right shoulder and arm. Also numerous X-Rays. l've now received an appointment for an MRI Scan. Needing an injection also in my still painful shoulder with blue dye! I'm very anxious about this because my pain started before l broke my arm in a fall. I was also given a confirmed misplaced, Covid, Vaccination over twelve months ago! Can you help me?

I don’t really hear the pop almost at all, but i fee it inside my left shoulder everytime I go to do a spiking motion with volleyball, or doing a full spin of my arm going from my highest point to lowest point of contact with the arm.

I partially dislocated my shoulder and it isnt in the same position as it was. I ended up getting better but when I workout or sleep on it wrong it tends to hurt. I found that sometimes when I relax my shoulders and use my internal muscles around my collar bone it will crack. I think sometimes air pinches on a nerve for me. I also found that relaxing my muscles and letting someone move my arms can help. Lastly I found that working with dumb bells to strengthen my tendons and ligaments helps alot. (I can use 50s but I go down to like 20s and do my workout there) For a week I would just use the bells for shoulder exercises then go up 5lbs the next week till I got to my old weights. I hope this helps anyone. Please stretch always too, its good for the body!

My left shoulder is popping and you're right, it's a mobility problem. Never had it before and now my left shoulder really can't do a straight half Y shape because it would hurt. I don't feel pain when it pops but it sure is a sign that my mobility will be more limited in the future unless I do some exercise

I hear the cracking every time I raise my right arm above shoulder level. Most times it hurts and reduces the flexibility of my shoulder. I always have to use my massage gun on my shoulder reduce the pain. I've tried so many stretches to cure this but nothing has worked so far.

If I rotate my left shoulder inward and lift it, it clicks, it has done it for 5 years, it hurts, it’s really awkward, it doesn’t sit right, It’s probably got to do with how I sit in my chair, and muscle overdevelopment/underdevelopment. I try to work out but it either doesn’t help, or is too weak to do anything. I’ve been to physiotherapists, chiropractors, doctors, etc and nothing helps.

In highschool a big guy ran at me when I was playing rugby so I flew in with shoulder trying to go for tackle ! I put in 100% and my shoulder felt dead for abit after it. I was never the same as my shoulder restricted how heavy I could lift(benching 100kgs to 80kgs after injury). Shoulder is still clicking but I feel no pain

So I used to lie down all day a lot and I sleep on my sides also, and ever since I started getting out more after lockdown when I lied down all day everyday every time I tense up my shoulder it sort of pops or clicks and when I push it, it feels slightly loose, my mum says I could be double jointed but I think it’s due to poor mobility over lockdown, it makes me very worried tho. A few months ago I was throwing a football for about 30 minutes. It began to hurt and I kept throwing it the next day I was barely even able to move my shoulder I couldn't lift it up at all. After a few months it has gotten better but there's still pain in there but only when I do certain movements if I move my shoulder fast it hurts but say if I do push ups it doesn't hurt at all only with certain movements plus I can barely pick something heavy up because of the pain in my shoulder when I lift up, what would you think the problem to my shoulder would be?

well my shoulder "cracks" on almost every moovement like arm rotation around shoulder axis, side arm raise... it almost never hurts but he it does, its not that painfull but the pain lasts for about 30seconds before fading away... (only one of my shoulders does this since I was a teenager)

my right shoulder pops and clicks a lot. but I kinda make it pop??? i rotate my arm inward. It’s starting to get sore. not really unbearable pain or anything. I do it to my left but not nearly as much as my right. would you say this is more of a habitual thing and since I do it a lot to my right, that’s why it’s sore and slightly hurting? should I test out not doing it at all and see if the soreness goes away, and then visit a doctor if not? sorry i’m kind of an over thinker. 😬

I think that's exactly what I have, when I outstretch my right arm inward my shoulder pops. I'm going to try stretching and using resistance bands to hopefully overcome the problem, if after 2 weeks of doing this consistently it hasn't improved then I will go to the doctor.

But I would suggest that you buy some resistence bands and look up some videos on shoulder clicking, there's a lot of good information out there. If all else fails, the doctor will help you out.

@@thebreadman2216 I don't know the exact science behind it but there's enough evidence to show that at least for pre-hab and re-hab it's incredibly effective in treating the shoulder and curing it. Check out West-Side Barbell as well, they advocate for resistence bands and this is coming from a man Louie SImmons who's had all the injuries under the sun and bounced back from them setting world records... a great source of experience and wisdom.

@@parthswami1254 hey, its still not fully recovered, always feel bit pain and numb after bench day. idk if the long head tendon is bit loose or just too tight thats why its doingn that click and pain after workout. Also done AC tests and noone feels bad at all, only when benching and overheadpresses, damn it....

My shoulders crack when you I do overhead dumbell presses. But they only crack when I do that movement with weights. If I do overhead presses without weights they don't crack. It’s hard for me to tell which muscles/tendons are snapping over each other. My worse snapping occurs when I abduct my arm at a 90 degree angle and rotate forward and back. I don’t hear anything on the forward rotation, but on the way back a large snap occurs. Also when I abduct my arm straight out to the side I feel a snap up both with abduction and adduction. Lastly over head I have a snap or click only when lowering. On another level I notice that my left shoulder is dropped some so this may be restricting my right shoulder. Any ideas on which muscles are being affected?

@@nagsentorne I have had uneven shoulders for some time now. I comes down to posture and exercise. The video that has helped me on KZbin has been “How to fix a high shoulder for good” by spinecare. I have found several articles online on the topic too. I also had some previous injuries that might need chiropractic care and maybe a physical therapist. I try to find options that don’t cost me a ton of money😂. Do exercises daily and see what shoulder you are dominant on. Exercising too will help strengthen your overall muscle tone and help even you out.

if it's really bothering you, you should do a full stretshing routine for your chest, lats, deltoids, triceps and biceps and do resistance training, for your shoulders and your rotator cuff ,and fix your posture if you use computer , mobile or if you study on a disk alot

I think I've had this problem since I fell & landed straight on both palms on my hands from halfway up the climbing rope in elementary school. :S Felt pain shoot from my wrists up to my shoulders. But the pain left quickly, so I thought I was fine. Other than my wrists & hands jamming up sometimes (especially when cold), making writing difficult and slow. And occasionally, mild waves of dull aching, and shakiness. But now that I look back, I remember the clicking just seeming normal to me throughout life. But while it wasn't painful, it just made me cringe at the noise & feeling, so I avoided those movements. Finally started to try learning how to workout with weights, and got frustrated wondering what I must be doing wrong when it came to shoulder exercises, because I kept hearing the clicks no matter what advice I followed. So I avoided them for some time to stick on just a couple other workouts for the time being. But now this makes a lot more sense. ^^; Thanks for the video. Hopefully I can get to fixing this issue now.
