I know you said that sometimes your bites aren’t “attractive” but idk what it is, the way you eat is so satisfying!! haha thats so weird to say, but you always take such a composed yet sizable bite that includes everything. again, so weird to say but to me it makes sense in the context of food reviewers lol. one of the many reasons why ur one of my fav taste testers 💕

The prnunciation i think is ge-vah-rah? And i think the other filling is picadillo. Empanada fillings can be so different depending on the country and, even within the country can vary! Here in Argentina there are provinces where they put raisins, potatoes or boiled eggs. The raisins with the savory filling are def an acquired taste 😅

I think they are named after Che Guevara. Its supposed to be a "Cuban" bakery but they mostly sell Mexican vegan food. And they advertise themselves as trans and woman-owned. lol its confusing AF but the eggplant torta is good.

How is it confusing? The woman who owns it is cuban so I think she does the recipes.

Sweet video. As a long time vegan I don’t like the term “plantbase” very much. I am not sure why we needed a new word for vegan. That’s why our review channel is Vegan Twosome and not plantbased twosome. We only do our show every Sundays tho. I wish we could do more like you. Keep up the good work. 🙌🏽
@nevenaderlokova23804 жыл бұрын
Plantbase is only about food, vegan is when you don't wear/eat/buy any kind of animal products, like cloths, cosmetics etc.. It is not a new word for vegan.
@VeganTwosome4 жыл бұрын
@@nevenaderlokova2380 I’ve been vegan for 24 years and I just started hearing it last year, but that makes sense. Thank you.
@rosas68994 жыл бұрын
I think plant-based refers to food or a diet that doesn't have to be entirely vegan, but mostly vegan (though if you’re vegan you can still accurately say you’re plant-based). I also think the term “plant-based” is potentially more appealing to non-vegans compared to the term “vegan” because vegans have (to some extent) accumulated a reputation of being snobby, condescending, and unaffordable for most people. The term “plant-based” could feel more accessible with less baggage and responsibility attached. For your show though, vegan definitely has a better ring to it😊.
@rklevens4 жыл бұрын
I don't like the term plant based either since plant based products or dishes sometimes include animal products.
