Hi all - we’ve heard your comments about the show title and agree that it’s not the best framing for this video so we’ve changed the title to “Adults Explain.” Additionally, for those asking about the subject matter, we received permission from all parents involved to discuss this topic and they were on set for all conversations. We made this show because we’re seeing a lot of kids encounter these complex topics at a young age. Our hope is to have a thoughtful discussion explaining the ideas to them now, so they can make their own choices as they grow up. At the end of the day, we hope our videos can help embrace empathy. Thanks for helping us to grow and learn even as we continue our journey as Jubilee! with gratitude, Jason

I think she was trying to say she uses protection and would know who the father is as she would choose to bear his children. Like she mentioned you can love one person more than another but doesn't mean you don't love the other. Although many poly people raise children together in one household. I think there were studies or experiments where a child could carry 3 DNAs a few years back (I could be wrong). But I think true polys end up having a household with more than 2 parents. @rey_nemaattori4 жыл бұрын
It's not that hard to take a paternity test to the point that you'll never figure it out...but a relationship, especially the ones where kids are involved, require practice. She's never going to learn to handle conflicts, different opinions, sacrifice, and bonding over/through hardship, if she's polyamorous. At the first sight of resistance, she'll just flutter to the next branch and when the times get though, (and I mean _really_ tough) she has no idea how to endure, how to solely depend on on person. That is if she's going to get pregnant at all, by the looks of it, she's going she be riding the CC for the next 10-15 years then start blog posts about 'where have all the good men gone'.
@devindrent85053 жыл бұрын
@@rey_nemaattori I think this is quite an oversimplification and biased comment. The situation you’re now describing is what leads to such a high divorce rate in recent times. Hardships are important in any relationship, not just with your significant other. This has no bearing on your monogamy/polygamy stance, unless you are so antisocial to the point where any form of resistance results in someone completely giving up on a relationship. Which most people simply do not do. Relationships are hard, difficult and often time consuming. For that reason it’s much harder to give up on one, than people think. At least that is the case for genuine connections. Modern society has made escapism much more accessible. Dating apps, online forums or simply the ease of distant communication in general has allowed for easy affaires. Seriously just by texting people can fall in love or form easy connections. Cheating has become much more widespread. Which isn’t much of a surprise. Monogamy worked for so long because partners simply weren’t ass accessible in the past. Commuting happened by foot or best case scenario by horse. Meaning that for most you were restricted to your village and maybe the surrounding area. This is in stark contradiction with modern society. Where you pretty much have access to the whole world with the click of a button. The temptation is high especially when your most important relationship isn’t going the way you are expecting it to. Divorce rates are up, the amount of affaires happening are up, children caught up in nasty circumstances by fighting parents are up. So clearly this narrative isn’t working so well.

Soitowo you’re logic is so off. Most kids aren’t just complete idiots, maybe the ones that’s you’ve been around are. Also just because a kid doesn’t get abused, doesn’t mean that the kid will be “more respectful”. When parents learn to allow children to express their emotions without getting belittled for them, then their kid will be “more respectful”. I can agree that if you just give your kid anything that you aren’t helping them develop basic life skills, but that has nothing to do with them being “respectful” or not.

@@adenm8963 huh??? Because firstttt of all they are a child…. 🤦🏼♀️ Hisstorically we tend to age black children, especially boys. Black boys as young as 10 may not be viewed in the same light of childhood innocence as their white peers, but are instead more likely to be mistaken as older, be perceived as guilty and face police violence if accused of a crime, according to new research published by the American Psychological Association. Researchers tested 176 police officers, mostly white males, average age 37, in large urban areas, to determine their levels of two distinct types of bias - prejudice and unconscious dehumanization of black people by comparing them to apes. To test for prejudice, researchers had officers complete a widely used psychological questionnaire with statements such as “It is likely that blacks will bring violence to neighborhoods when they move in.” To determine officers’ dehumanization of blacks, the researchers gave them a psychological task in which they paired blacks and whites with large cats, such as lions, or with apes. Researchers reviewed police officers’ personnel records to determine use of force while on duty and found that those who dehumanized blacks were more likely to have used force against a black child in custody than officers who did not dehumanize blacks. The study described use of force as takedown or wrist lock; kicking or punching; striking with a blunt object; using a police dog, restraints or hobbling; or using tear gas, electric shock or killing. Only dehumanization and not police officers’ prejudice against blacks - conscious or not - was linked to violent encounters with black children in custody, according to the study. The authors noted that police officers’ unconscious dehumanization of blacks could have been the result of negative interactions with black children, rather than the cause of using force with black children.

Exactly. Little did he know is that being in a committed relationship and then going out for many other entrees and foods can lead to food poisoning, upset stomach, and a wide variety of other issues not addressed in the video about having many partners. .

Yes absolutely I didnt really like the boy in this and I think it would just go a lot better with teenagers and they could understand it better and even maybe help figure themselves out more with people explaining each side to them

It's not polyamory if it doesn't have the consent of everyone involved. That's just plain cheating, the thing that so many "monogamous" people do on the regular.

The African American child was absolutely wonderful; he most certainly has a great future in comedy if he decides to pursue that career route. Edit: To all of those that have informed me that I have incorrectly assumed his race, I acknowledge my mistake. This was an excellent lesson for me. Thank you very much and please have a most pleasant day!

Sun Tzu problem is in order to agree with polyamory you have to be of the mindset that people are replaceable and interchangeable.

A more accurate tittle for this series would be “Adults Explain” and not Convince Kids... Edit: wow I didn’t expect this to get so much attention 🙈, but I’m glad Jubilee changed the tittle!

For this particular episode I agree. But if they had more appropriate topics (e.g: Vegetables are Great || Convince Kids) It would be A LOT better.
@Sansrage.4 жыл бұрын
I feel like it shouldn’t have been about such an adult topic, the problem is that they literally did try and convince the kids. They were talking about candy, that’s literally what child predators do. It’s CRAZY.
