I reveresed the balding on my crown and center of my head through doing four things, not that all are necessary. The three vital one are finasteride, the helmet laser treatment, and minoxidil foam. The fourth option is optional but it does help lots as well, that being castor oil. Make sure to dilute the castor oil for it is too thick and if run through already weak hair, it was pull them out. One more thing. Finasteride works within 6+ months and you WILL see more hairloss as you take the medicine because it is making room for better and stronger follicles

Why do people say hair cannot be grown back? I've used Biotin, Nioxin, Divine Herbal, Minoxidil, Regaine (contains Minoxidil) & many many others over the last 15 years. From all of them Regaine worked but made my scalp itchy and sore. The only 2 things I found helpful were Biotin (10,000mcg daily) and Divine Herbal Hair Oil (twice weekly) and this combination's helped more than anything else I've used. Ladies you must get blood tests done too so you can rule out undelying health issues causing the shedding.

Hey hun, it may be that you just have thin hair, but at your age I use to straighten my hair alot and tie it up tight. That thinned my hair out. My daughter had thin hair since she was young but she has alot of hair. She is now also thirteen. At the age of 11 I saw it was getting thicker around her hair line and started braids and up styles because she does karate. I saw it thin again so I stopped and made lose braids and less up styles combined with new Sprout by MastoorA beauty. New Sprout is for hair growth but it actually has helped my hair line too which I didnt even know was " missing" hair. Ask one of your parents to contact them and see if its suitable for you. Don’t worry it will grow back, just have a healthy life style: eat healthy, exercise, sleep early (8-10hrs), don’t wash it too much, on the days you do decide to wash it apply a oil treatment I recommend rosemary oil, olive oil, and maybe a bit of pumpkin seed oil, make sure to have a bigger ratio of olive oil to rosemary oil and pumpkin seed oil as they can be strong. Apply that for 6-8 hrs once a week. Make sure to be consistent. Wash it out with a good shampoo, I recommend one that hasn’t got sulphates etc. I recommend olapex but it depends on you just do some research on your specific situation. Also don’t stress I know it can be stressful but hair is not the be all end all :). How’s your hair doing?

In most men and women there is normal level of testosterone in their blood, the problem is on the level of their hair follicles. If an individual is susceptible to convert testosterone in dihydrotestosterone (DHT) on their hair follicles, latter have 10X stronger affinity to bind to them (as a rule of thumb never on the back of the head), causing progressive miniaturisation and production of fine hair. If this process lasts for a long time, years or decades, follicles die and are not able to produce hair any more. On the other hand, testosterone and DHT are required in men to develop beard, moustache and male habitus so we can observe in a same man damaging effect of T/DHT on the head, and desirable effect of T/DHT on other hairy regions and their normal male-type of development including muscles, secondary sexual signs, deepened voice etc.

Stimulating hair follicles before they "go off" is what I personally do. As said here I don't think it's possible to stimulate hair follicles that has not produced for years and finally you can only optimise what hair you are designed for. Maybe you could have another persons hair follicles implanted, uhh!

@BroChopin Really nice of you to take the time and share your personal story to help others out. Thank you for that. Is there anything else you can recommend in terms of massaging the scalp or anything like it? I got an itchy scalp as well. And how was the process of regrowing it, did it turn worse first and then better? In which time span did you see specific results? In my case the worst thing is that I never know if I am on the right path right now or not. Would really appreciate a response, hope you got the time :)

is it possible to grow it back after a case of tichotrillomania? i took many many hairs out of my head because of anxiety issues years ago, they say that the hair grows back after some years, but have not seen any new hairs yet, my issue is not balding btw, my hair was always strong and would never fall off, but due to that psychologival issue i lost a lot.

nothing happened man, i still have missing hair in my head, and it looks like the spaces where hair used to be are closed, i still use a natural mixture of ingredients for the rest of my hair which keeps it strong, but the blank space at the top makes it look horrible, i have tried many things and none of them work, the few cases of regrowth i have seen have been in women, and for men, it looks like their natural tendency of going bald also makes things worse, i am no expert but i think there's a correlation between the hair that can't grow and dihydrotestosterone, maybe that's the thing preventing it of growing back, or maybe it's poor health, or just that the follicles are dead, i also found that the scalp bone in our skull has the same shape that hair gets when men go bald, you know when hair only grows in a circular shape and not in the scalp, it could be that this bone, being so dense, that it prevents blood circulation to such areas thus not allowing new hair to grow back, and it feels like bullshit you know, because i have pulled hair from other parts of my body and the damn things always return in a matter of weeks or just in a few days, and yet in my head nothing happens going through different information i also found that the few that managed to grow it back even if trichotillomania was not the cause, have been patients in an hormone replacement therapy (MTF Transgender individuals), of course i am not suggesting this path to anyone with tricho, but this gave me more useful stuff in what could be the cause of hair not growing in men btw i tried to find help in the trichotillomania subreddit, but everyone is so into their own suffering that their act like victims instead of trying to find solutions, i left a post there and got nothing more than useless words of support, the same thing happened in a Facebook group which i tried to join looking for help about hair regrow, apparently that's offensive for them i am still trying to find a solution, minoxidil doesn't help at all because the hair that grows, once it falls, it doesn't return, and it causes more harm than good according to many reviews and opinions, the only real solution that could work for us is probably a hair transplant which grows new hairs along with follicles, and in the worst case there's also data that indicates that castration prevents male baldness but only if done before the hair loss, these cases are only for the ones that want to take things to the extreme, not suggesting this to anyone who enjoys of a sexual life btw

Hey guys , so I am getting back hair on my hairline (I see new ones sprouting further down, yay) and slowly thickening crown that was very thin , after 6 months on propecia 0.50mg dose everyday.. I was on minoxidil for almost 2 years with 0 results it did absolutely nothing for me.. I think it only works on around half the people who try it, I was unlucky.. also I make sure to drink tons of milk for zinc, I get the kind of milk with added vitamins and minerals, You really need to supplement something to feed your hair follicle. I'm 31 years old so still fairly young. My point is finasteride (propecia ) works. If your follicles have some life in them..But it takes a long time, I won't get my peak results until after a year. Also try dermarolling your hairline to reactivate some collagen healing process to try and get them to come through . It's a battle but you have to stick with a routine that works for you.
@kvo999994 жыл бұрын
Tim Haines Hi Tim, i have been on 0.5mg for about 3 months but still not really seeing much improvement.. are you sure 0.5mg works?
@terror3244 жыл бұрын
@@kvo99999 it takes over 6 months before the new growth starts poking through if it's going to. 3 months will start to stop the shedding if you understand . 0.5mg will lower dht only about 5 percent less than 1mg so for example 1mg will lower dht by 80 Percent then 0.5 will lower it by 75. And the 5 percent won't do much change on how effective it is. Just give it up to a year before you see how it's doing for the hair loss, the regrowth is the toughest part and usually requires 2 or 3 extra tactics to initiate .
@kvo999994 жыл бұрын
Tim Haines hi, so are you saying hairloss should really stop falling around about 6months to 1 year? I prefer 0.5mg as not experience side effects and if it has same results similar to 1mg. Its just im noticing my hair still thinning and jus worried that i wont keep the hair I currently have.. i know its still early days..
@terror3244 жыл бұрын
@@kvo99999 my hair is still falling, but after the 6 months mark I notice it's been replenishing faster. That's what you want is to decrease the thinning cycle by diminishing DHT and have new hair coming in faster. That way it will be thicker or maintain, most people will maintain and still have hair fall at a lesser rate. I would say give it 6 months because you know now that your stabilizing dht levels, so the hair you have on your head grew before you started the drug so that hair will thin at your old rate, you need to give it more time to stabilize. Also I wouldn't worry about side effects because it's less than 1 percent of people get it. Only reason I'm doing 0.5 is because it's so close to 1mg in effectivness and it's cheaper as I live in Canada.. remember there's a lot of psychological problems thinking it's not working, but you probably havnt hit your next cycle in growth, then it will stabilize.
@kvo999994 жыл бұрын
Tim Haines wow, so you really believe that the 0.5mg will work. I had to lower my dose from 1mg because i was experience stomach cramps, and testicular pain. But on 0.5mg i have noticed no side effect. But i just really want it to work, but i guess i just need to wait it out.
