The problem is, that I can't afford their motorcycles any more...prices are getting so high that I can't afford to change my 10y old Italian bike to get a new one with all those fancy electronics 🙈

When you look at the premium that you pay for a Ducati vs a Japanese bike, they're actually cheaper than they used to be -- the price delta has shrunk, because everything else got more expensive.

@@detansinn9882 Very true, but in my European country salaries have not risen in the same proportion as premium bike prices so at the end I can't afford a new one anyways 😅

I purchased a 2023 Ducati Diavel V4 and the electronic control system has helped me ride much better over the last 7,000 miles I've had it. I live in the Northern California Sierra foothills so I ride twisty mountain roads, high speed freeways, and urban city scapes. The electronics make the bike controllable, safe, and fun to ride. I ride the bike daily to work through mountains, high speed freeways, and Sacramento CA roads and it performs perfectly. My favorite mode is Touring as I have access to the full performance without the bike being too twitchy or doing wheelies etc. My favorite feature is the Ducati Quick Shifter as the faster and harder I shift the better the DQS works. I can't wait for the next 100,000 miles!

I'm not against electronics or rider aids at all, even though my motorcycle in particular only has ABS, I wouldn't mind if it had more. However, you can't really say they help you ride better, I mean they might make your ride faster and safer but you don't get better as a rider by giving away control, that doesn't make sense. Also... looking forward to the next 100k miles? On a Ducati... 👀 better be prepared to drop some serious money to make it go that far haha

@@AirSKWolf I have a seven, 7, year unlimited mile Ducati factory warranty I bought for $2,500.00 US dollars when I brought my bike so I'm not worried about any costs. Just tires, oil, brakes and valve jobs. This is my first 186 HP bike and I have over 7,000 miles so far and I think the rider aids have saved my dumb ass multiple times so I think they have allowed my to live and thus I am a better rider.
