Something I learned about the naiads. If you play a Naiad round one without playing aucwen, and play aucwen later, the one on the graveyard gains the Nature tag, meaning you can replay it with Protector.

Another fun interaction. If you play the 11 provisions neutral unicorn and it gets Quiraxis, it will trigger it's effect.

@@henriquefozzatolima573 That's a pretty commonly used interaction too for other more meta things and a good one to know. It's the same interaction/reason why ranged Caravan Vanguard will summon the Highwaymen, Saskia Commander triggers the Harmony on cards she pulls on Deploy, and Incubus Summoning Selfeater will boost the Selfeater.

On release there was a bug they fixed where the Aucwen infusion was permanent and didn't go away when they entered the graveyard so you could always play any of them with Protector.
@henriquefozzatolima5732 ай бұрын
@@platinumpatrol2964 yeah, that happens because in gwent, Deploy is coded before the card enters the board, so if a card summons another one that triggers something when the unit who pulled them is played, it will proc it.

My favorite Gwent content creator playing my favorite deck. :) I love all your videos and all your decks, but definitely enjoying seeing the Devotion decks. It's undeniable that not having the removal and counters of neutral cards makes the decks less competitive, but I still love them, I think they're so much more interesting. A Devotion deck usually means a synergy or ability that is unique, which is fun to both see and play. I like winning just as much as anyone else, but it's not like I would *get* anything even if I won every single game, so I'm not fussed about that - whereas I do get more *enjoyment* out of seeing a greater variety of clever deck building. Devotion Symbiosis has always been my comfort mainstay. I win more than I lose with it, and I get a sort of satisfaction out of feeling the opponent underestimate the deck only to hit them with a huge tempo train. What's interesting is that I've grown so comfortable with my standby Devotion Symbiosis deck that I'd fallen into thinking it was the only effective way to build the deck, so it was great seeing you come in and build a different version of it I'd never considered. I run mine with Freixnet and some Dol Blathanna Sorceresses and Seers, and Bountiful Harvest for the Simlas. No Filavandrel, no Frog Mating Season (and a couple other small differences). I may have to give this deck a try just to to shake up my comfort zone and habits! Also particularly enjoyed your recent Ulula and NR zeal decks. I love too that you never give up on rain decks; I have always loved the idea of rain decks, but I must really suck at playing it because I can never get mine to kick the way yours do. I mean even in expert hands they're still tough to steer, but I love them nonetheless.

Really cool to see Eithne played. I've only really been playing Gwent for ~4 months or so and non-devotion Symbiosis with the classic Simlas -> Equinox point slam was what really skyrocketed me up the ladder because it's just so easy, but I got real bored of it and I always wondered how I might fit in Eithne, as I have a soft spot for devotion decks. This'll give me something new, yet still familiar to try out!
@platinumpatrol29642 ай бұрын
I found the non-devotion symbiosis quite boring as well and didn't play it much. Eithne's 3rd form can actually be really strong, she carried the R3 of the first game here for example, but she does also have drawbacks (Lord Riptide and Curse of Corruption for example). I do like her though. She's fun to play.

@@platinumpatrol2964 So after now trying this deck for a few days I'm going to have to extend a big thank you for making this video. I'm absolutely loving this version of Symbiosis, waaaay more fun than the non-devotion version I'd been playing before. I usually like your decks, but this is a standout to me for sure. Looking forward to more fun decks from you!

I am so glad to see a devotion of this deck! Gotta be honest I haven't even touched symbiosis since before equinox became a thing. They were just fun to use and at that time the card that spawn a dryad every 4 turn can't remember the name really worked well! Kind of like katakan. Actually I think that was my second deck I really got into gwent with after vampires?

Freixenet is a pretty reasonable card. I wanted to use him but couldn't find the space.
@DennisJeppesen2 ай бұрын
@@platinumpatrol2964 yeah that's the one! Yeah only problem with him in symbiosis is missing space... They need a card like firesworn that can eat all the treants! That would be a big help sadly too late unless I am forgetting a card?

May I please ask you to enable "Display tooltips for cards played by opponent" at least to quickly in your setting so I could pause the vid and read whenever I see a card and I dont know what it does. Thanks!

Why do you always play aucwenn before hamadryad on r1? I always figured Hama comes first since it adds 2 points to aucwenn. are you trying to pressure removal in someway? In game 4 it also plays around riptide which is cool.
@platinumpatrol29642 ай бұрын
It gives flexibility since if you end up wanting to play a special like Rebuke to kill an engine or a Caress if they lock her you still generate engine points. I think playing either card first is fine.
