I love my OG M2, it's just the perfect sports coupe. The haters who keep whining about 'it hasn't got an S engine number' blah blah, most of them have never even been in any M car, let alone owned one. I looked at the LCI and M2C, and the things which I bought the car for, are better in the OG, than later models. I know the S55 is a great engine, but even the N55 OG shares lots of parts, like the same forged pistons, same uprated oil pump and supply, and many other parts. The suspension and chassis parts are identical part numbers, and the extra power of the S55 is almost completely offset by the extra weight. I prefer the OG wheels, rear valance/back box, and even the seats (I like the lumber support). You can use all of the power on the road, because the diff, and chassis, are so good, it allows superb traction. I think standard OG models will become the sought after type, as they are the purest form.

Ich hasse an meinem OG M2 auch das es keine dedizierte Öl temepratur anziege hat. Jedoch kannst um Board Computer sehen sobald Öl und Auto auf Toptimalen Temperatur ist. So musst du nicht schätzen wann es soweit ist. Der M2 braucht schon ne weile bis Öl auf Temperatur ist. Siehe Bedienungsanleitung Seite 89 unter Engine temperatur display: "Displays the current engine temperature,based on a combination of coolant and engineoil temperature. As soon as the optimum oper‐ating temperature has been attained, the indi‐cator is in the center position.If the engine oil or coolant, thus the engine, be‐come too hot, a Check Control message is dis‐played." Salut, Belle machine, j’avais la m2 et j’ai changé après 3 ans pour la compétition, je dirais que la différence est vraiment haut dans les tours là où le n55 s’arrête la compétition s’exprime, mais autrement il est clair que ceux qui critiquent le n55 son des jaloux qui ne l’on jamais roulé ou pas plus de 20 minutes car c’est une voiture incroyable aussi ! Où as-tu caché les projecteurs pour la bande led violette? Ça rend vraiment top 👍🏼 Merci

Yes of course I’m sure there a significant difference between the 2 but people saying it’s not an m car have no idea but I love them both the leds can change color but I fed it behind the vents and under the center console to my arm rest and plugged it into the usb port it was fun to do thanks for the comment!

In 2025 I want to make this dream come true, unfortunately in Italy these sports cars have exorbitant taxes, I'm a bit undecided, 2k per year just for the ownership tax is a lot of money, considering that there is 2k in insurance. I hate my country for these things...

@@Phill__ fair enough I pay taxes on my car as well not that much but at least in Italy you can properly enjoy the car without bothering too much here in 2025 if you make excessive noise with your car it can be up to a 10k fine and if you drive to fast and reckless you can end up in jail and loosening you license for years on end

@ I know that in Switzerland the police don't joke about these things, but in Italy 2 weeks ago they increased the penalties for these crimes especially for speed, but not like in Switzerland. Out of curiosity, how much tax do you pay in Switzerland for the M2?

@ yeah makes sense but with these cars the most fun is in the corners where you usually don’t go crazy fast which is good for Italy except the roads there are horrible I went in the summer and so many holes but so much fun either way, taxes depend in which canton you live I paid last year around 500 I believe but the most expensive thing has to be gas if you like driving 😂

@ he likes to drink petrol like a sink I know haha, I will buy it to use it on the weekend. to go to work 40km from my house I will use a good and reliable Fiat punto diesel 😂😂

@ I use mine for work but work is near for me but having an alternative is definitely smart the car is good on gas if you drive like a grandma but the car wasn’t built for that lol

That’s the biggest reason I got the pre lci maybe where your from there aren’t as many regulations but I prefer having a car that sounds nice out the gate and can put an exhaust on it without it being illegal here in Switzerland also I like the pre lci they are just some things that don’t make sense and I was just pointing it out if you watch the video I say how much I love the car anyway

@@M2.johnny Ne es gab einen m2 n55 ohne opf als lci wurde von mitte 2017 bis anfang 2018 gebaut und wie gesagt das war kein front. Hab nur gehört wegen der ölanzeige und dem das das der lci eben hat
