Another cool thing about the ability to buy collections (since you arent afraid of moving lower end cards ) would be the treasure hunting aspect of it. Thanks for the info. As a buyer I agree with a lot of what you are saying on some of the larger sellers. I will buy from Burbank but skip COMC as soon as I see them. They are slow and their shipping is outrageous. Can't buy inexpensive stuff, it will cost you $10 for a $3 card and you wont get it until next month... Good luck!

Yep, a lot of their auctions are bought from COMC accounts as they don’t have to pay shipping fees, so their sales volume is a bit misleading.

I’m a clothing seller on eBay. Did just under 250k in sales last year. I pretty much only buy clothes that have close to a 100% STR in 90 days. I was thinking about getting into flipping cards as a little side hustle of a side hustle. In the sports cards world does STR matter as much? When I was doing some research on cards that sell between $10-$20 it looks like majority of cards have a STR of %30 or less. Is this pretty typical in the sports card world and the only way to drive sales is my volume?

Hello Sir. I watched your video. I love doing Ebay selling cards. i have around 1100 listings. Really selling many low selling cards sit there for months or even years. I assume you have thousands listed so obviously the more you have listed the more likely to sell a card. I guess if you love what you do it isn't work. With the 13.25% Ebay fee and .34 cent insertion fee which we all cover in our shipping price (I'm from Canada) selling a dollar card is good but at the same time the packaging, sending it out. To make it worth it you have to sell 50 a day. You got to admit alot of low end cards just sit there. I would love to know your thoughts sir! Thank you! :)
