These videos are always a highlight to my week. I especially loved how they made Mickbell’s voice pretty androgynous. I assumed he was a woman for so damn long and it’s nice to know anime only fans will get a similar experience.

Every time one of the these 'breather' episodes comes out where the animation is more basic (and Swamp tends to nitpick more) I'm always left with the impression that Trigger is saving up their efforts for those select episodes when they're going to go all out.

I found myself looking up your channel several times over the weekend to see when you'd post your Ep 5 breakdown. Realizing now that's what the subscribe button is for, lol. Great vids, appreciate your insight on what goes into the production of these episodes!

As usual, loved the video. Surprised you didn't have anything to say about the animation of Senshi fighting the ghosts. It is super simple, almost a slideshow, but it is really funny and went really well with his sound effects.

Okay i genuinely have always pronounced Falin's name like they do in the dub, and have only just heard it as fall-en from these videos. Is that just me? Am i in the minority? Great video btw
@swampjawn9 ай бұрын
tbh, I suppose it's a fair interpretation since it's supposed to be a European sounding name, but I've just been going by the Japanese pronunciation (ファリン) and that's how they pronounce it in the original audio. As always, I don't think it particularly matters though, it just bugs me because it's not what I had in my head XD

Oh, hell yeah: new breakdown! (Am I talking about the video or me before an exam in an hour? who knows) Jokes aside, it's always interesting to see and learn about details I am not privy to in animation: thank you. I have to say that I am appreciating more and more how how little they add but how it still fits in the world, let's hope they keep it up until the end. Also your animation of curling up into a ball at the end of the video was very cute ;3
