Same brother. I left a church and honestly it got me really church hurt. I loved the folks and it truly broke my heart but I stepped away because I couldn’t let my love for them be greater than them. They were teaching heresy and I’m glad God gave me enough wisdom to realize that I needed to leave. I pray that God make bring us to closer to Him and may we find the true church.

I think those verses of God not hearing sinners refers to those who live a life of sin without repentance and penitence, and pray to Him anyways. It is impossible to not sin, but it is possible to repent of those sins and have a contrite heart, and if necessary to confess those sins.

God is a searcher of hearts. “Hearing” means “due process” sometimes. So, God may not give ear anymore to sinners’ prayers because He already knows what’s in their hearts. Most times though, He’d lend an ear. But God is God and who knows what His ways are?

Thanks, another great breakdown. In Psalm 66:18 shines a better light on Prayers and iniquity. In James 5:13-20 explains why we ask the elders of the church to anoint and pray for our healing. It is the prayer of the righteous that will have more power of prayers. This is true that we ask the saints to pray for us because they are already in heaven, and heaven is the most righteous of place. Rev 8:9 shows that the Angel has the Saints prayers. If you say that Catholics pray to the dead, then you do not believe in eternal life. All glory to God...

In one way I think so, when it comes to those who have diminished faculties of reason like infants or the mentally handicapped and the necessity of baptism; the faith of the church as a whole and especially the parents who raise infants in the faith make the sacrament valid. But for us who have our own faculties of reason, we are accountable to our own faith.

Romans 7 is Paul writing about himself in pre salvation. He is speaking about himself, as a Pharisee, struggle to keep every law in scripture and finally realizing he can’t do it alone, by himself. Then it goes on that the old Paul “dies” and is reborn walking after the spirit and not of the flesh, Romans 8. 1 Corinthians 6:11 says such WERE some of you, as in sinners. Jesus says to be perfect, as in without sin. By the the power of Jesus give up your old ways and walk in the spirit with the Lord, give him all your trust. Then your sins will be forgiven and your prayers will reach God.

I was a Protestant before finding you and people like Sam Shamoun, Man Mari, I know they aren't Catholic and we should pray for them but I know they are Coptic Catholic. So I feel like their teachings are the closest to Catholic teachings? Yes? No? Maybe so? I'm in the current phase of transitioning from being Protestant into Catholicism. Glory to God for this because when I went to the Catholic Church yesterday to seek answers I felt I needed that I could not find in the Protestant church. I found out that there are more Books in The Bible! ALMOST DOUBLE! And it begs the question why aren't these books canonized? But then I found out that Catholics believe in a few extra books that are missing from the KJV that protestants use and I was curious why that was! And you can see that they try to remove parts of The Bible that ARE important to furthering your relationship with Christ our Lord and Savior and I pray for these people because my sister is currently still an Evangelical. And I want her to learn the truth the WHOLE truth. The truth that I came upon. The truth that will not only set ME free but through God's glory set her free as well. And not only her but my neice and nephew. I'm currently working on trying to get her and the both of them out of there to hopefully help them see that there's more to this relationship with God that all denominations share. And to do this the right and proper way and not the way that YOU think is correct because you're misinterpreting scripture. So in conclusion, I guess I'm asking for prayers from you perhaps if you'd be so kind and for anyone one who finds this message. I feel like a lamb that strayed from his Master and has found him once again. Amen. 🙏

According to Scripture, God knows and hears everything . Some examples of God hearing and answering the prayers of unbelievers include Cornelius, the Roman centurion, and the king of Nineveh. In these cases, the prayers seemed to be requests for mercy and acceptance, or combined with repentance. However, Scripture also warns that God does not hear the prayers of the wicked . Some reasons for unanswered prayers include personal and selfish motives, remaining in sin, and worshiping idols. For example, Isaiah 1:15 says, "God does not listen to the prayers of the wicked". First John 5:14-15 says that God answers prayers based on whether they are asked according to His will . This principle may apply to unbelievers, and God may choose to do something for them that corresponds to their prayer.

Deliberately and can't stop to me seem to be two contrary things. Can't stop means you're a slave to the sinful habit, your free will is diminished and you may not be held accountable for that, but you need to desire and try to change. If you can't stop, ask for the grace you need to stop, and believe God that He will provide it to you. Receive the grace and then make the effort to build a healthy habit to replace the vice with virtue. We can't do it by our own strength so don't be too harsh on yourself. John 16:23 In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. He said this about Himself. “You will no longer ask me anything… But you all teach to go lower and ask men who are not God. James 5:16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If all unrighteousness is gone what makes a person more righteous? Nothing. You are righteous or you are not. Hebrews 4:16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. It is clear that He does not hear the prayers of sinners and you quoted one evidence of it. 1 John 3:18-23 18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. 19 And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. 20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. 21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. 22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. 23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. This says clearly that to reassure your heart you need to love and to love you need to obey what’s written before these verses and if you do your heart won’t condemn you and you will have confidence before God who is love. James 5:16 is another if you understand it. So if Jesus said you won’t even ask Him but go to the Father what are you all hung up on? Why is this so complicated? Are the saints more righteous than God? Did God say to go to His Father? That means a true believer is righteous enough to go to the source of righteousness and make requests for His glory. That men can know God now and not have to go to anyone else accept that learning and growing is necessary and obedience is necessary so faithful leaders are necessary and especially so that when someone falls there’s great strength to support and fight for the sheep who are still young and shouldn’t but may sin. 1 John 2:1 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father-Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. Repent of your religious garbage and receive the Lord/Truth. Acts 19:2 and asked them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” They answered, “No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.” Mark 1:4 And so John the Baptist appeared in the wilderness, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. About two years ago debate over the necessity of baptism sprung up on KZbin and shortly before it the Spirit of God spoke to me in my sleep and said “They are baptized for preparation for service. I hate the old sanctuary.” It was a message for the church. Baptism prepares but the Apostles weren’t baptized in the Spirit until Jesus went to His Father. The Spirit on Him was working with them. You do not instantly receive the Spirit. Romans 6:4 We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. Baptism is where the old man dies the temple is prepared for the Spirit of God. I was baptized in early 2012. I experienced the baptism of the Holy Spirit in late 2012 and into 2013. That’s when the tangible, supernatural began. I began having dreams of future events and knowing things about people I didn’t know. Others around me experienced the same thing just like Joseph. James 5:19-20 19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; 20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. if a person is in error this says they are a sinner. If you’re in error God does not hear the prayers of sinners. The fact that you believe a saint in heaven better than you shows a lack of faith in God and that you don’t believe in Jews Christ/the Truth properly. Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. going to saints in heaven calls Jesus Christ and God liars because you believe He doesn’t love you and listen to you the way He said. You all are literally disobeying the Lord and calling Him a liar. 2 John 1:8-10 8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us. 5-7 talk about being in light or darkness and being honest about sin. 8 is saying if you claim to be without sin but have sinned you are deceived. How can you confess sin if you’re not sinning. 1 John 3:5-9 5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him. 7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. Are Christians of the devil? No. Read it again if you need to. Don’t give me that mortal and venial sin garbage. “Whoever is born of God does not sin…” 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new. Romans 4:6 the old man or nature is dead. Ephesians 2:3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. You were by nature but God gives His Spirit and a heart of flesh where your nature reside in your mind and heart. 1 Timothy 1:12-16 12 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; 13 Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. 14 And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. 15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. 16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting. He isn’t calling Himself a current sinner. He is basically saying He was the worst. I’m not going too far into Romans 7. It’s sad so many teachers can’t see what He’s saying. He’s comparing his old flesh nature under the law as a Pharisees to the nature of the Spirit. When Paul wrote that do you really think he was SOLD under sin? What sense does that make in light of the whole revelation of God? Galatians 3:13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.” I’ll ask you again. Was Paul sold under the law or as Galatians 3:13 says “redeemed?” Or let me ask you this. Was he carnal and rebuking carnal Christians in 1 Corinthians 3:3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? Is Paul a hypocrite after Jesus Christ showed an extreme hatred for hypocrisy? Does love fulfill the law? Has the love of God been ahead abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit as the scriptures say? Galatians 6:2 Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. This isn’t some random thing they wrote. It’s commanded so can you be perfect by the Spirit of God you claim to walk in and walks in you and be in sin? Are you confused? Now go read 1 John 1 and Romans 7 and 8. Look at Hebrews 10:19-22 and 1 John 3. Baptism isn’t where your body is wash with water. It’s where you put your old life to death like when Israel came out of Egypt. Ephesians 5:26 to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, Song of Solomon 1:2 Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth- for your love is more delightful than wine. These talk about the same thing. He does it to His bride which is every true believer. I’ve seen it. I saw Him washing me and I would lay in my chair or in bed as His power washed over me and through me and cry uncontrollably. I saw Him bring me and some others out of Egypt. We walked down to the water and a beautiful sunny day and I wondered when He was going to split the sea for us to go through.

If his premise is true then he should become Catholic. Because Protestants believe forgiveness can be attained by asking God for forgiveness. There's no need for confession to a priest or a minister. But if God can't hear the prayers of sinners then no sinner can ever come back to God. Well, that's ridiculous. But it does put a wonderful place for confession into the mix. A sinner must if possible seek the sacrament of confession, a process that forces him to confront those sins and be forgiven in a sacramental manner. However, if God did not hear the prayers of sinners then he would hear the prayers of no one. “For no one is without sin except Jesus Christ." Another strange aspect of Protestant theology is the once saved always saved. So I suppose to some Protestants once they are saved they can keep sinning and don't require repentance. That goes against scriptural principles as well. In other words, Protestantism doesn't make sense.

The Bible states we receive the Holy Spirit upon believing. According to the Bible, people receive the Holy Spirit when they believe in Jesus Christ. Here are some Bible verses that mention receiving the Holy Spirit: John 20:22 Jesus breathes on his disciples and says, "Receive the Holy Spirit" Ephesians 1:13-14 The Holy Spirit is a "seal" that marks believers when they have faith, and it guarantees their inheritance until the redemption of God's people Acts 2:38 Peter tells a crowd to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus for the forgiveness of their sins, and they will receive the Holy Spirit Acts 1:5 Jesus tells his disciples that they will be "baptized with the Holy Spirit" before many days Now, there are 500k Muslims a year that are seeing and talking to Jesus. A lot of the testifying that they prayed fervently.

@Humbleservant0707 Ай бұрын
Muslims do pray fervently but not to God the Father. What source do you have for all of the Muslim conversions. I've seen many testimonies but they typically all say they never prayed or thought about Jesus ever until He or Mother Mary comes to them in a dream. Typically a dream and rarely before them while awake. It's also hard to determine how many Muslims are actually seeing Jesus and converting.
@killianmiller6107
@killianmiller6107 Ай бұрын
John 20 is about Jesus empowering his apostles, not necessarily about belief Ephesians 1 isn’t quite saying that belief equals being sealed (as if apart from baptism), it arguably implies baptism when it mentions the “seal,” like how circumcision was the seal of the Israelite people (Romans 4:11). Acts 2 baptism and repentance is instrumental in receiving the Holy Spirit.

@@Humbleservant0707 There is no information on Mother Mary showing up to any of them. Jesus is called the white Angel so that the Muslims don't kill the Christians among them. One of the you tube clips shows a girl that is a teenager and she saw Jesus at the age of 11. Her family will not let her leave to be Christian though. By my calculations two million people a year are seeing Jesus from the whole world. You have to scour the Internet for information and some comes through my Church. According to Lausanne World Pulse Archives, it's a well-documented phenomenon in the Muslim world for men and women to have dreams and visions of Jesus Christ, even if they don't know the gospel or have contact with Christians. These reports often come from countries where converting to Christianity could be fatal. Some say that Jesus appears to Muslims in their dreams during Ramadan, on the night of power when they cry out to God. In these dreams, Jesus may appear in a white robe and tell the dreamer that he loves them and died for them on the cross. Others say that Jesus may touch their forehead or above their heart and tell them they belong to him and have been saved. Some say that these dreams have changed their lives and led to unprecedented numbers of Muslims converting to faith in Jesus Christ. For example, in one reported incident, around 200 Muslims in Gaza reportedly saw Jesus in their dreams and visions, realized they had shared the same experience, and converted to Christianity.

@@cristiancastro1381The good news is given in the story of the prodigal son. If we confess and truly repent of our sins, God will welcome us home like the prodigal son. He was at home with his father and he fell, but he came home and was welcomed with open arms. God still loves us and wants us to come home to him. Do not be discouraged my friend. Sanitizfication is a process. We get up when we fall and return to our God.

Jesus answered questions with questions. Here’s another one: why must doctrines be determined by dropping singular cherry-picked explicit verses as opposed to the whole corpus of scripture and tradition? I try to use scripture only just to appease you like Jesus appeased the Sadducees by only citing the Pentateuch, but a full answer comes with scripture in view of sacred tradition. My question about whether death divides the church matters because 1) we are exhorted to intercede for each other in prayer, and 2) the body of Christ is not divided by death because the gates of the netherworld (death) shall not prevail against the church. Our God is the God of the living, not the dead. The transfiguration where Moses and Elijah are present with Jesus shows death need not separate us; so does the vision of Jeremiah in 2 Maccabees 15 by extension. We have a great cloud of witnesses of those who’ve gone before us in faith. Job prayed for his friends and they were spared on his behalf. I’ll also mention that nothing except a cursory and flimsy comparison to necromancy forbids asking saints for intercession. Theologically speaking, in asking for their prayers, it’s like asking your friend on earth to pray for you, but these are your friends in heaven who have been made perfect (because nothing unclean can enter heaven), and the prayer of the righteous avails much. My point here is to counter your implied accusation that we apply to the saints what is proper to God, ie the power to answer prayers.

@@killianmiller6107 As usual nothing in scripture that supports this practice. Thanks you I do not even have to argue my point and am confused to why you even bothered to respond. It's very much so confirmed that their is absolutely nothing biblical about your practice at all. What Jesus showed is that he was very displeased with the religious establishments, yours included. Yours is no different from the one's around when Jesus was walking the earth expect for the fact that the ones HE actually cared about were The Israelites establishments. The people He made His covenant with. In the second woe, Jesus condemns the scribes and Pharisees for making strenuous efforts to win converts and then leading those converts to be “twice as much” children of hell as the scribes and Pharisees were (Matthew 13:15). In other words, they were more intent on spreading their religion than on maintaining the truth. The truth is the word of God. Surely we can agree on that much. Hence further strengthening the point I do not even have to expound on. Your practice is not of God because it is not supported in any sense by the word of God.

What a long winded way of saying “I’m right you’re wrong, git gud scrub.” You didn’t address a single scripture I referenced. You don’t have the charity to even consider that I actually have read scriptures that maybe do mean we can ask those asleep in Christ to pray for us, and while maybe I’m mistaken in my interpretation, at least there’s an argument to be made; but no, you go for the thing atheists do when they say “there’s no evidence” right after you give them evidence. You want from me what Muslims want when they ask “where does Jesus say ‘I’m god, worship me,’” so I will inevitably fail your unfounded standards and you claim victory. I may as well do the same thing, give me one verse that says “accept Jesus into your heart as your personal lord and savior and you will be saved.” You can’t, therefore you’re just like the Pharisees Jesus preached against. Not cool when it happens to you, is it?
