A first round pick isnt always going to be a serviceable nba player. He had a decent run. At the end of the day drafting is all a gamble youll never know who has that hunger to get better every day.

Excellent analysis, he probably grew up playing the pg position and he probably never learned wing skills(post up, being aggressive driving , or being exceptionally great on defense. )

The league is not good..and these players are overly-hyped starting with KZbin basketball channels filled with idol-worshippers who call every player ‘great’. The league is so much hype. There are not even 10 TRUE Superstars in a league of 450 dudes. Look at Tatum. Look at Haliburton. Look at players like one-dimensional Damian Lillard. Most GM’s would take prime Chauncey Billups…a bigger much more well-rounded PG..but was far less hyped…than Damian One Dimension Lillard. It’s all hype.
