Bron always has to dominate the ball, which makes him harder to play with. No forward should be a ball dominator, they do not have the handle of a guard.

eddievangundy Do YOU even watch basketball......players would die to play with a player like LeBron ..........his greatest gift is his passing........AND as a duke fan kyrie is a ball stopper and is too much of a iso player......BY THE WAY.......Look at what happens when Chris Paul and Russell Westbrook are your primary ball handlers......1st round exits

Alfredo Garcia i don't want to here that excuse Westbrook had Kevin Durant...............i get clippers are always injured........but theirs a reason i would take steph curry over those two he is a team player......and plays in a freelance type offense that is predicated on ball movement......mean while chris Paul dripples 18 seconds off a shot clock........and Russell Westbrook is at times a turnover machine...........Ask yourself why do the clippers hate the warriors so much.........because they are team players.

Let's get this straight. LeBron is dominant differently than Kevin Durant. Kevin Durant is skill dominant and can play many styles and positions on the floor including forward to guard, to small center and defense. With that said Golden State Warriors picked a great player for their system.

This dude "CoonLock" absolutely disgust me. Lebron is a leader and is in a system that requires him to be ball dominate. KD is in a system that requires him to play a lot of off ball. That doesn't make him a better teammate. Lebron in Miami played a lot of off ball.

Yes he is. Like I've said before, this is a team sport. The GSW are a great team and KD fit right in. The Cavs play too much 1 on 1 basketball. You can't expect the guys around you to get on a roll scoring when they only touching the ball once or twice a a quarter. You are standing around watching Kyrie/Lebron shooting everything and then every once in a while it's like "here shoot it". Then when the role players miss or have a bad game, everybody get on them.

great analysis, sometimes you just have to trust the team around you, the management, the teammates, THE COACH, because in this day and age, you cant micromanage, it is true that he is the system to the team he goes, and just like peyton every coach knows what to do to stop that system, and then you go to the system vs execution thing.

One thing I noticed during the player interviews last night (in regards to which is the better teammate), KD, and all the other Warriors for that matter, basically deflected most of the praise for their individual performances by pointing to the value of their teammates, their system, their coach, etc. Lebron's interview was very different. He praised himself...'I left everything I had on the court.' ' I did all I could do. I have nothing to be ashamed of.' I didn't hear one positive thing said about anyone else on the Cav's team. I found that interesting.

kD's a better teammate. More down to earth than Lebron, doesn't patronize teammates or usurp management. And KD's ability to play off ball means he doesn't marginalize talented teammates - wheres Lebron is the definition of ball dominant. It's a myth that Lebron's fun to play with.
@BlackSantana
@BlackSantana 7 жыл бұрын
Leigh Arlington it's not a myth when its been a proven fact. well documented by players. and he was able to recruit Wade and Bosh. LeBron lost bro....celebrate hahah but trying to diminish everything he's established is hilarious smh
@leroyglam3920
@leroyglam3920 7 жыл бұрын
BlackSantana: How goes? I said Lebron marginalizes talented teammates. Bosh wasn't the same in Miami than in Toronto (although some of that was on CB). Wade and Lebron struggled to play together and lost to a less talented Dallas team. I also said Lebron isn't fun to play with if you're talented - meaning, to me, perenial all star ability. I didn't say that socially he's not fun to be around. And do you really think coach Spo and Coach Lue enjoy hearing that Bron's the actual coach? Or that Griffin enjoys hearing that Bron's the GM? Those dudes actually know what they're doing. So y'all can disagree it's fine. But I still think that professionally - not socially - if you're talented in the NBA, Lebron will make you play within yourself, is high maintenance. So personally I'd prefer KD as a teammate, who's not perfect but more down to earth easy technically to be creative with and around.
@leroyglam3920
@leroyglam3920 7 жыл бұрын
Joey thanks for your response. Of all the players you mentioned, the only talented perimeter player you mentioned is Wade. The others would really clash that much with Bron. And it took D wade and Bron a minute to figure it out. Also: Wade took a big step back in terms of shots per game to play with Bron - which is also partly on wade as he's not a great catch and shoot guy. But Bron needs to be the system wherever he goes and that would be hard for another creative/talented player to deal with. You seem to argue that following the floor general model, Bron's ball dominance is fine. Okay, he's made seven straight finals so I'll give you its worked out. But if you're a talented player it must be hard to deal with professionally, not necessarily socially as Bron seems like a fun guy when you're just goofing off.

That's bc lebron is greatness. KD isn't. KD took the easiest path to a ring. Lebron sets expectations and elevates his teammates. KD doesn't

He's basically like Westbrook but he takes less shot attempts so he has a higher field goal percentage.

Lebron has the talent to run things a major difference and he know the game so well that he speaks up he and Kobe Bryant when he was gonna quit Lakers advise management of what he needed so they play the game how many in management has?

This isn't a fair comparison. Durant had obvious issues in OKC. These issues manifest over the last two seasons and culminated in him running to join what had already been the best team in the league. LeBron on the other hand moved from good teams to struggling teams. Each time he needed to go in and push the team to a new level.

Whitlock has been saying what i been saying Lebron and Peyton Manning are the same thing. Sometimes the talent is too good that it actually hurts the team.

Why doesn't Whitlock give credit to the story he read? He's referring to articles on fivethirtyeight that he read about KD and the Warriors, he's getting a lot of his information from those articles.

Durbitch "not needing center of" etc. HURT him in OKC... +Galvatron wait how is that a knock?? LBJ still shines brighter than KD when he was with other greats and shared the spot light. KD was with Westbrook an ALL TIME Great and had such a terrible leadership "that didnt need to be center of attention" so much so that Westbrook dominant personality outshined him, to the detriment of the team. Before you knock LBJ and try to up KD think 1st.
