Boseman situation was different regarding Marvel. They were aware of his diagnosis through private discussions with him. They wanted to pay tribute and I think that was a great gesture. As for Majors, I think a come ack story will benefit both when it happens.

I agree with that. My gut thinks the announcement of Doctor Doom is part of Feige's plan to involve both villains for this saga's endgame (no pun intended). Would Marvel spend Phase 4 and 5 building up Kang the Conqueror only to just completely abandon everything now? Do they honestly want us to skip Ant-Man 3 and both seasons of Loki from now on?

In the comics, Dr. Doom and Kang was working together to rule the universes bitthey ended up fighting against each other for dominance. I don't know who won or what happened after that. His performance in Ant-Man 3 was not a highlight but at the same time the script was terrible and Peyton Reed didn't do a great job directing this one. Majors was a bright spot in Loki which to a lot of people showed his true potential. I'm not advocating a return based off race, it's more so the potential for the character and showing grace for a mistake that happened.
