warsurplus wooden bats can actually hit the ball farther, the sweet sport is just smaller. Metal bats 15 years ago were ridiculous but for the past 8 or so they don’t produce more distance, they’re just easier to swing and contact is better.

Love watching all of your videos on what it's like to be in the MLB. Everyone always wonders what it's really like and you give a introspective as to what the experience really is. The one thing I always think about is what it's like to hit against major league pitching. Being in the box vs watching it on TV must be a world of difference. A teammate on a league I play in faced a pitcher who was drafted by the Twins but never really made it to the bigs and still throws 90. My teammate says it's on another level altogether....

Really enjoy your stories on the day to day life in the Bigs and those little nuances, especially. To expand on the MLB gear. How many Fielding Gloves would you go through in a season? How many broken "game ready"in Gloves would you or the average player travel with or go through? Assume the quality of Rawlings you guys had were top notch but how long would it take to usually break them in?
