The Bible doesn't say that money by itself is the root of all evil. 1 Timoth 6:10 ~ For the love of money is the root of all evil: which, while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. So basically, the love of money or an excessive focus on wealth can lead to negative outcomes, such as greed, selfishness, and unethical behavior.
