It's obvious that Noa is a descendant of Caesar through Cornelius, however distantly. He even shares the same birthmark. And while their names are different they share equal significance. Caesar was a famous human leader and Noa was seen as a chosen savior.

Noa’s isn’t a birthmark. It’s a scar from being tased early in the movie

He doesnt have the same birth mark, he has the same scars as ceaser. One of the directors said he didnt want noah to be related to ceaser, instead he wanted destiny to play a part in the story. Like noahs a completely different person from ceaser, but in a way you could say he’s supposed to be a reincarnation of ceaser. They have no relation ties with eachother, noah will just end up accepting ceasers philosophy. Some people may think its lame that we dont know what happened to ceasers line, but if anything it expands the world, and allows us to be introduced to new characters and stories. We can see noah will be heavily inspired by ceaser, but they arent related.

I like not knowing because it makes it feel more real. Because by 300 years and with the circumstances nobody would know who was related to who. I would think they would only be able to keep track for only so long. Clans could have been destroyed, or they moved. I personally don't think we need to know. It makes no difference for the current story.

Noa definitely not a Cesar descendant he had to be taught of Cesar ways however the movie was mid . For this generation is mid for simpletons. Old movies were good . However I do like the evolution theory promious gave and I’m my eyes he seemed more of a Cesar way of life don’t trust humans back to square one . Hopefully they evolve and go into more technology .

Just saw the newest movie … and it’s by far my least favorite.. I just think it would have been better if they hadn’t fast forward 300 years later .. fans would of connected better with Cornelius rather then a whole New ape we know nothing about.
