pocket camp is like a long chill game that doesn’t pressure you into doing much, If you ignore the adverts that is. You can collect leaf tickets at your own pace. And use them too. It always finds ways to keep you playing and it never gets boring. It’s pretty slay

I really love Pocket Camp actually- you get access to tons of free cookies everyday, because sometimes the " timmy and tommy " cookies worth 5000 bells can be replaced with a special cookie, where you can exchange it for 5000 bells aswell. Also, once you unlock gulliver, there are 4 " cookie- jar " islands, which give you 5 free limited cookies each for completely free, you just need to use random items to ship the boat, and wait a few minutes to pick a cookie.

Just got to have patience & save up. Also, with fortune cookies, you’re better off buying the set for 250 rather than just spending 50 on one because you can get duplicate items, & then it’s just a waste of leaf tickets. So if you spend 250 even if you spend 250 3 times for the same cookie set, at least you will get some new items that you haven’t had yet. Ntm, patience is a virtue with this game:)

Very happy you tried playing Pocket camp Liss!!! I'm a lvl 256 in game and have been playing for about 2 years now ^^ And I can proudly say that I have yet to spend a dime on the game!! Pocketcamp offers monthly events that enables you to collect a good amount of leaf tickets and very cool new items! It gets pretty grindy with the first couple months making you believe that everything can just be automatic with paying but of course with patience the game will let you just enjoy, collect and design with your cute items and campers

Lv256?! Damn, the dedication :0 I played this game again recently after 2 years and I still lv70 🥲 As much as I want to buy leaf tickets/subscription, the game isn't really available in my country so I have to use JP acc. My irl friend stopped playing a long time ago too, so I have to clean up my friend list and send a friend req to basically anyone. This game is grindy yes, but if you just play casually, it's actually a pretty decent mobile game. And they re-release a bunch of old items right now, which makes me happy that I don't miss out too much 😅

11:06 actually, you get to trade for the stamp cards for the furniture that you actually want, but the thing is that 3-star items require 1 stamp card, 4-star items require 5 stamp cards and 5-star items (which are the most rare and important itens from the cookies) requires 10 stamp cards

My biggest tip: focus on the seasonal events. That's where you'll get the best-looking items just for participating. I have fun with Pocket Camp here and there, but the monetization is really annoying and is pushed CONSTANTLY everywhere you go. That's why when people complain about wishing ACNH was "more like pocket camp" and had all of the same cute items coming out with the same frequency, I cringe out of my skin. Yes, I would love to have all of that cute stuff in ACNH, but it comes at the cost of heavy, heavy monetization. That's why they're willing/able to push out so many new things all the time. That being said, I am a paying Pocket Camp player. I pay two of the monthly subs and I don't buy leaf tickets otherwise. You get a little leaf ticket stipend every month, are able to finish crafts instantly, and you get quality of life upgrades or more reward tracks depending on which plan(s) you choose. The whole thing is just much better and less stressful when you play it as a monthly subscription game rather than a free gacha - that being said I totally understand why people wouldn't think it's justified to pay monthly for a silly little mobile game that STILL tries to milk you of your money in other ways. Oh, and another tip: add as many people as possible as friends. Add everyone you come by, or go to the subreddit to find active players. Doing simple things like watering another player's garden or sending them gifts can net you a lot of rewards if you do it en masse.

Hey, at least they have a pity system. My one forever (so far) gacha game doesn't and man it pisses paying players off. The trade off is they never push ads in your face, you have to go to the shop on your own to do ads or regular purchase rather than a pop-up after each level.

here are my top 10 tipps for playing pocketcamp: 1. do the monthly events ! gardening event, fishing tournament & gyroid hunting ! they give u event items & always have a cute theme 🥰 2. save leaf tickets, u’ll get enough (special) cookies for bells @ timmy & tommy’s 3. befriend lots of players and start sending them gifts ! (u can send 1 a day), that’s the best tactic to get gifts back & raises ur chance to get special cookies too ! >:D 4. when u need bells: sell cotton, wood etc. in ur market box (for the highest price), when u have lots of friends someone will buy it 5. u can change some stuff up in the campsite terrain (for free !) very basic stuff but it adds to whatever vibe u r going for 6. u don’t HAVE to put down amenities; even tho i recommend it bc u need certain amenity levels to get higher friendship levels with groups villagers (grumpy, sisterly etc) :] 7. always visit the market place island, sometimes they have pretty cute clothes & items there !! 8. i have found that seasonal campsite builds work best, because u can’t really time travel (as far as i know) and the events just give u the cutest seasonal items anyway ! mixing themes with seasons gives u lots of variety too and makes it even more fun to decorate ;D

Honestly I played pocket camp years ago when it first came out and I got bored of it and never played it again. Then at the beginning of this year I downloaded it again and I've been hooked on it lol. It's more of a game you play leisurely tbh. I mostly play when there are events going on because you earn a lot of cookies and leaf tickets from those, as well as the clothes and furniture prizes. You definitely have to be more selective with what you spend your leaf tickets on (never use them to speed up time on anything, it's a waste of leaf tickets imo). Knowing certain tips as well to get the most out of your game play also helps a lot. I watched all the tip videos from the youtuber BookishPrincess, she lists out basically all the best ways to get the most out of your game play without spending real money. It's definitely slow progress and not a game where you can grind to get every single item at once, but I have a decent amount of stuff just from doing the monthly events/tasks and i haven't spent any real money on this game. Oh! and sending/receiving gifts to friends as well, you can get cookies every so often from doing that or you might get lucky and a special cookie will show up in the shop for bells instead of leaf tickets.

I’ve been playing it since its launch at 2017. I like how villagers interact with the furniture/amenities you put at the campground/campsite. Yes there are micro transactions and you’ll feel like you’re really under control of Tom Nook. Mostly the tedious thing for me is doing the events. Catching rare bugs, fish, and gyroids just to claim a new piece of furniture in that event.

i still play it! it's easy to save up free leaf tickets if you just play a lil each day. it's got lots of items that make endless decorating possibilities and really cute clothing and hairstyles too! it's fun to share gifts with the random friends i've made on there and interact with their fave photos and see their cute villagers! it's a nice lil comfort game for me. c:

The items in pocket camp are great and the way the villagers interact with the items and sometimes do random things like make smoothies with you is super cute!! I would say that if you don’t spend money you do have to wait to save up leaf tickets. However it does get easier to get things like fortune cookies than it initially seems, as other people commented. I think the worst part is loading screens and everything take long so that’s like more waiting on top of waiting and I can be impatient haha.

Pocket Camp is the type of game you get super addicted to at the beggining, but after some time you only pick it once in a while. When you finish your campsite there is nothing else to do but grind to get new clothings for your avatar. I feel like Nintendo makes no effort when updating the game, every month there is the same events that revolves around fishing, gardening and collecting bugs, there is no minigames, there is no way to interact with your friends besides giving them kudos. Things that makes the game a little more fun are locked behind a pay wall. I abandon this game for months and when i come back there is nothing new besides some furnitures and cIothing. This game has so much potential, but Nintendo is too lazy to make it better.

Haha, I just reached level 100 in pocket camp and I freaking adore this game. I got it because I couldn’t get New Horizons when it dropped but I desperately wanted to play animal crossing. Then I spiraled and now this is my little mobile comfort game (though I was finally able to get New Horizons and New Leaf!). The biggest complaint I have and hear from everybody is the leaf tickets but the thing is that you genuinely do not need leaf tickets. You don’t need to buy them, you don’t need more than the game gives you, it just makes it easier. I was ftp for a very long time and enjoyed the game all the same. The only thing that turned me over was the fact that I had money for myself and the happy helper is incredibly cheep actually- but the convenience is literally the only reason I put money into this game. You really don’t need to to have fun and enjoy the game and, if you play the game consistently, you get plenty of leaf tickets anyway. My personal favorite part of the game are the bug off and fishing tourneys every month (fuck the scavenger hunt, I don’t know why I just irrationally hate it)!! It’s something that a lot of first time players don’t get to see right away yet offers some of the cutest furniture (ginko caffe my beloved!!!!!) and the most fun aspects of the gameplay, as simple as they may be. And if you miss the events, the objects that were a part of them get periodically “rerun” so you can craft them later! Honestly, the cookies really are just a luxury that don’t mean much to the rest of the game. I really do love this game and there’s a lot that people don’t see at the very beginning and, while I absolutely understand the criticism, there’s so much more to this game than people give it credit for :[ Maybe I’m just taking it too seriously but I love fishing for my little ribbon eels and sending gifts to my friends (and mourning the people who haven’t logged on in >30 days who’s gift queues are filled up, RIP to レモン my beloved 😭)

I hate how it’s full of money traps and that’s why I would not recommend this game for children, however it’s actually kinda fun, the furniture is cute and you actually get a lot of furniture later in the game (even without paying real money). It has surprisingly quite a lot of personality and that New Leaf feel and graphics I didn’t get in ACNH (I love the feel of ACNH, but it’s just different yk and I think the old style has more personality). It’s perfect in this aspect. The game’s very polished. I’ll definitely be playing for a while. There’s a lot to this game even without paying real money, the good stuff is just kinda hidden in the maze of microtransactions, but it’s there!

A tip from an experienced player: although you get lots of leaf tickets for free regardless to level, it´s way easier to get them in the beggining. So spend them on the fancy, expensive terrains so you make the most of them, they change your campsites the most and it´s hard to save up that much in the late game. It´s an amazing game though, I´ve been playing for 2 years and have only spent 20 bucks.

Just ignore the ads and patiently spend time answering prompts from all the villagers and Isabelle. Do the tourneys, regularly collect everything, and keep a moderate stock of everything. Moderate your ambitions. Either have one or two particular themes you want to decorate in. Go in accepting that you need to focus on one style. Invest in that, so you don't spend Leaf Tickets on anything unless you ABSOLUTELY want it. I used to play it a few years ago and got back into it with my GF. After about 2 years, I have nearly 1,000 LTs and paid for none of them. I have a lot I like, clothes I like. Not as many hats as I'd like, but I think they recently added one my female villagers would have liked a few years ago!

So I’m the odd one out on these comments. I’ve played pocket camp since day one and it’s honestly way more fun than new horizons. I do spend money because I think of it like an arcade game. I don’t just buy everything but it’s the only mobile game I spend money in. It’s relaxing and I love decorating all of my spaces.

Genuinely, as someone whose played Animal Crossing: New Leaf on a 3ds for years, this game actually feels more convenient to me. Specifically my love hate relationship with how easier it makes hunting. In my opinion, it really doesn’t stray too far from the original, if you easily ignore all advertisements like me, and it’s exciting to see seasonal new fish and bug species, broader charactee list that constantly rotates instead of being stuck with the same villagers, finer furniture, and more freedom within ACPC. New Leaf and Horizons can get repetitive, but this game manages their updates very well. I have been playing it for about a week and a half in free time, and already level 31, haha.

I don't ever spend money on pocket camp, it's pretty easy to get plenty of leaf tickets for what you want. Unless what you want is to buy every single fortune cookie. But if I want to finish an item faster, dig in shovel strike again, auto complete a map, buy a cookie here and there. I love that there is little tasks I can do everyday and it have levels to gain where other animal crossing games do not. I also love all the seasonal events.

i have the happy helper subscription ($2.99 a month) & the merry memories subscription ($0.99 a month) & those are worth it for me since i play everyday & it helps me not doom scroll on social media 🥳 but it’s not necessary to spend any real money on the game depending on what u play it for, i like to collect/craft all the items i can, i’ve crafted all the levels of the campsite amenities (the little tent at the campsite u cant go in lol), & am working on collecting all the items in the garden tht u can exchange for flowers ! having long term goals for myself in the game like tht is what makes it fun for me & i rly enjoy the themed monthly challanges & like seeing what the themes & items are each month. there are drawbacks tho, i rly wish we could use/go into the amenities, the terrains u can get for ur campsite take a lot of leaf tickets & so do the special fortune cookie packs, u get a lot of leaf ticket maps where the prize at the end is 10 leaf tickets but u get too many to ever complete & u can’t sell them, but overall i rly enjoy the game & it’s worth it for me to spend $4 a month on it

Ive been loving Pocket camp. I dont play much else on my phone and since my Switch has drift, its easier. The teir1 subscription is ~2$/m and, for better or worse, is necessary if you want faster crafting, but they give out tickets at a good rate if you play for a minute. Theyre only in your face at the start. (I cant lie ive spend at least 50$ so far but in my defense, they had 1000 Tickets for 20$ Blackfriday sale) + Building sets and taking pictures was my favorite part of AC and Pocket camp makes it so much easier and fun. I just wish there were more base items

I LOVE the Pocket Camp items. Cutest items out of all the games. It's nice how many events there are each month to earn rewards and items as opposed to the other AC games. It is a little stressful how clear it is that they are begging you to spend money; it is a little bit of an adjustment from other games to get used to not being able to collect every item. But if you hoard leaf tickets from events, login prizes, ticket maps from Gulliver, Happy Home Academy rewards, and leveling up and don't spend them on speeding up crafting or such, you can get a fair amount of cute items over time without spending real money. (It is easier to get tickets at the start, once you finish all Isabelle's goals it gets trickier, and it takes more work to level up the higher you get. So start stockpiling tickets while you can, lol.) I also avoid buying the fortune cookies until they are on sale occasionally for 5k, you get them as prizes for events, or in gifts from friends. I hate spending a ton of Leaf Tickets to get some tiny item, lol. Biggest tip is just to not stress about getting every item, lol.

I only spend $2.99 a month for the helper plan that does stuff like speed up crafting, and the helper collects stuff for me while I'm not playing the game. I ignore everything else and just gather the leaf tickets slowly over time through various activities. In the beginning, it does feel kinda ridiculous, but as you keep playing, it feels less so as you gain more resources for stuff. I only play for the cute items they give to decorate the campsite. Wish ACNH had all those items...

i made a personal rule to never spend leaf tickets on anything except campsite terrain. you really only see the fun in pocket camp after youve played like a month and gotten the various themed furniture sets. once you start REALLY decorating your campsite, it gets really addicting. i played every day for like 2 years because i'm just kinda like that, but yeah you don't have to spend any money on it edit: oh wait yeah definitely buy the extra crafting slots. they're a one-time buy and you have them forever. i also use leaf tickets on the blathers treasure maps because those are 5 tickets and the rewards outweigh the leaf tickets you spend. people have mentioned it below, but a tip is to just check timmy and tommy's cart for fortune cookies you can buy with bells. i earned a ton of fortune cookies this way. i only bought a grand total of two (2) cookies with leaf tickets before i realized that something fishy was going on, and i stopped myself.

I'd rather have the microtransactions than ads, although I do admit at first I did get annoyed with how much the microtransactions were pushed. It's the only animal crossing game I was able to get into, I like how it feels more structured and less free, if that makes sense. Most people would think of those as negative things, but I like them.

I'm not sure if this was already said elsewhere in the comment section but I have a correction about the fortune cookies - the stamp cards allow you to pick whatever cookie item you want, provided you have enough of them. The ones at the top going for 10, those are for the biggest, rarest items from their respective sets. If you're looking for a much smaller/common item, such as the set's outfit, those typically go for only one card. If you tap the cookie's set, you'll see all the items' prices. Also yeah, the game hands out Leaf Tickets like candy if you just play normally. It is possible to rack up tens of them over time just by doing events. It doesn't stop after the early game - I'm level 410 and I can still get a bunch per month by just engaging with the events and completing their tasks. And if you miss event-timed items, don't worry - they often get reissued around the time of year they initially released.

i played for a while when it first came out during The Great Animal Crossing Famine but i haven’t picked it up since acnh. i’ve tried a couple times to get back into it, but it just doesn’t quite scratch the same itch that a full game does. all total i probably spent around $75 on leaf tickets i think? the comments about waiting to buy during events are so true!!! you can get really good bundles for a lot less than the typical ratio. i kept telling myself that a new game would be $60 so these little purchases here and there are totally fine. on that mf copium fr :’)

Now they added it I'm subbed to the 99 cent plan and that's all I spend, but $12 a year is less than lots of games, it's even less than ACPC if you wanna play online. For a phone game this one is good imo.

I've been playing since about launch. I only started spending money since about last year. The monthly 1$ subscription per month. 20 leaf tickets and more for doing the monthly rewards. Buying leaf tickets straight up is not the way to go. If you're going to buy, buy the 1$ ticket pack to get the monthly goal cookie. Helps make the month challenges easier. Also don't rush. There are a lot of opportunities to spend leaf tickets, but the key is to be patient and build. Even just popping in to get daily log in rewards can eventually build up a stockpile. Lastly, if you don't want to gamble, save up to directly buy items instead of cookies. You get the item with none of the gamble. It can feel like it's pushing you to buy, but you don't have to. You can easily enjoy the game for free. Bonus note: Android users can use Google play rewards to get credit to buy leaf tickets.

I decided to search up these kind of videos that are about animal crossing pocket camp because incase anyone doesn’t know, if you get into pocket camp to much, make sure to take a lot of time with the quests and spend time with the npc’s if you like them. I believe after you help everybody it show’s one of the characters just doing the crab dance and gives off unsettling vibes with the not so calm music. Im not 100% sure but im pretty sure. I used to play it but never knew this. So if you like pocket camp make sure to spend the time with your npc’s if you like them.

I played pocket camp for about a year or so, the game gets so much more fun when you get more villagers at your campsite and more friends on it There is also a market place on the game where you can sell stuff like, fish, shells from the beach, and fruit for bells that you friends can buy from you And once you get to level 50 you get a cabin wich is basically your house now and you can have one villager to be your roommate for it and once you get onto a higher level you can get an upstairs to your cabin. The game is really fun once you get into it! And a tip I have is of you want more leaf tickets you really just do more and more tasks and get more then save then till you have loads and you can get alot of leaf tickets aswell from you daily log in I hope you make more videos on the game because I'd love to watch them! Animal crossing pocket camp is an amazing game! And it never gets boring! ❤

I’ve played Pocket Camp for about four months now and can only say positive things. For a mobile game with gacha elements it’s really very generous and gives you a ton for free. By completing all of the starting tasks you get a ton of leaf tickets, you have a good chance to get a cookie whenever a friend sends you a gift, you have a good chance to get cookies that normally cost leaf tickets for bells instead each day in the shop, and you get ten leaf tickets every level. Spending leaf tickets on cookies isn’t the best to do because there’s so many other ways to get cookies without spending leaf tickets. The best part about the game by far is that every month there’s three events, a garden event, a fishing tourney, and a scavenger hunt. Each event gives you a ton of furniture as you go just for participating, about as much as you’d see in an entire cookie per event. You also get leaf tickets and reissue material for completing the events each month. Also, the extra crafting slot purchase is a one time thing, not every time you go to craft. The two extra slots are very easily affordable with the starting leaf tickets, and then you have them forever. It has a slow start, but within a month or two you’ll be swimming in furniture and able to make a lot of stuff that just isn’t available in a game like NH.

I don't spend money on pocket camp often, I have the monthly subscription for the helper (which only costs like 3£ a month), and that's about it. I think you can earn more than enough free tickets to get the stuff you want. Unless you like EVERYTHING they release, chances are, you'll probably only want one or two of the fortune cookies they're offering. And it's easy enough to get the premium fortune cookie items from "gifts" that you exchange with other players in the game. If you wanna spend money you can, but it's really not as pay to win as it seems. It's a super fun game, I've been playing for years and I love the outfits and the furniture in the game! Plus there's an AR camera so you can take pictures of your favorite villagers irl!! It's so fun! I swear I'm not sponsored, I just love animal crossing, lol.

I’ve played Pocket Camp for years. I’ve never bought a single leaf ticket. You get them (slowly) through gameplay and I hoard them until there’s a fortune cookie I’m obsessed with! You occasionally get premium cookies in your shop for $5k bells, ALWAYS buy those. Bells are easy to come by in this game. Decorating your cabin and camper van is super fun and once you have friends you can send and receive gifts which include fortune cookies. I do pay $3 a month for the Happy Helper plan because I love Poppy more than some actual humans I know, and you get more materials and gifts from having a camp helper, plus 60 leaf tickets a month, and as you saw, you pay that much just for about the same number of leaf tickets. The other plans don’t feel worth it to me, so I ignore them. The events are super fun and you get really cool items from participating. I like this game because you can ignore ALL the upcharges and still have a really fun gaming experience. It’s the only mobile game I play.

i play pocket camp religiously since release, i love that there are events that you need help from your friends to reach the goles. Getting leaf tickets its SUPER easy, once you unlock blathers maps there are some maps that have leaf tickets as rewards. i think what i like the most of this game is that you can focus on friendship OR aesthetics but they are both great, i love the friendship system in this game, i like when they ask me for furniture and seeing the heart level rising really makes me wanna chat with my campers. Furniture and clothing is just stunning, and although the coolest ones come from cookies, free events also have super cute ones and there are a couple ways to get super cheap cookies (like small events, friend gifts and sometimes they are in fortune cookie cart) also you can craft super cool furniture with reedition material, so you dont really have to pay. i subscribed one month to the cheapest plan and i cancelled, because furniture is crafted instantly and i think that misses the point of the game xD

i played this game at launch, meaning there wasn't a lot of cute furniture like there is now, no fortune cookies, only four campsite themes, and the number of villagers were scarce. i did not expect to like pocket camp a lot as it was the first animal crossing game in general that i picked up, but then i got addicted. i got new leaf a month after, and while i didn't get new horizons at launch, i still got it around march. however the phone i was using to play pocket camp broke a year later, and i didn't have any backup data, so i gradually distanced myself from it. i did have a lot of progress-i liked my campsite, it had this rustic cafe setting with a god-worshipping altar next to it because why not? and i don't remember a lot of my campers other than eugene and marshal. but honestly pocket camp was fun while it lasted. the events were nice and i didn't spend a single coin to buy leaf tickets since i recall them being pretty easy to get if you do all the tasks in game daily. i will admit this video kind of made me want to look at my campsite again, but i ultimately have no desire to play the game anymore. even if my phone didn't break i eventually got disinterested in animal crossing and it's been a long while since i played new leaf and new horizons. i only watch animal crossing stuff nowadays for nostalgia.

I've never bought leaf tickets but I did subscribe to the happy helper plan for a month... which I kinda regret now. I wouldn't recommend playing it especially bc you said you have an addictive personality. The seasonal events are super difficult if you don't want to be on your phone 24/7. The items are cute but I'm not sure it's worth it tbh. I played it daily for years when it first came out. It was way better back then. Really chill game, no pressure to buy leaf tickets. No cookies, no items you can buy only with 'real money' I started playing again out of boredom this month, got hooked in the seasonal event but it's so difficult to get everything without help, and I still had to log in every 3 hours to make progress. I wanted something to do to get me out of where I was but I think it just made it worse. I'm a perfectionist, I want to collect everything I can but I don't want to spend all my money on it. Once my subscription is over I'll stop for good, before I'll get addicted again.

As long as you’re okay with waiting on furniture to craft sometimes for 24 hours but usually not too long you’re good. I don’t feel like I’ve ever been blocked by a paywall.
