Awesome content as always! hey Saulo i have a question for you: I'm a doctor and play poker casually, try to play a session everyday for 1h, and as poker is not my main income or even makes part of it i would like to know from u how should i do my bankroll managment? should i be a little more agressive and how many buy-ins would u advise, other thing should i be playing 2 or 3 tables of zoom or 6 regular tables! (even its not my main income i dont like to loose money and have been winning for a while have a winrate of 5bb/100 in zoom25. Thank You!

I used to play professionally myself and bankroll management depends on a lot of different factors, but the main thing is that you maintain a bankroll that gives you comfortable cushion to keep playing well though downswings. Most who don't play professional (and even some that do) really don't know how bad and how long downswings can last. 20-30BI downswings will happen if you play long enough, so most pros recommend 30BI at a minimum. That number can go up or down depending on the games (tournaments are generally more high variance than cash; games like Omaha are much more high-variance than NLHE cash) and your winrate (the higher your winrate, the lower the variance). It also depends on whether you have another source of income, because obviously with another income source you can replenish your bankroll more easily, so you can get away with having less of a bankroll. I will say that only playing an hour a day will probably make it tough to have much of an idea of your winrate for a long time. As for 2-3 table zoom Vs 6 regulars, it just depends on how comfortable you are with each and what the player pool is. Try both, and try to get a feel for which ones have more fish and which you're better at. ADD types like myself generally prefer Zoom, but there are often more fish at the regular tables. Good luck!

I would say focus on getting good at one table then scale up. If you are playing reg tables then I would start at 2 then scale up.

Not sure I'd be able to help with that to be honest my friend 😕 I've been making intermediate to advanced content for years. Starting from the ground up as a rec is a context I'm very distant from. I do know of a ew KZbin channels that are perhaps more suited to this type of audience: Jonathan Little, BlackRainPoker and The Poker Bank are a few that come to mind. Check them out, I'd imagine you can find good information

I like to run it twice or at least offer it to recs who will cash out if u click once but might be ok with running it twice and therefore not cashing out. Keeps that extra rake they pay available for you to win.

For example, if you get in with one card remaining and are a 60% favorite, if you cash out they will give you maybe 58% of the pot regardless of what the river is (so if you would have lost the hand you get 58% and if you win you get 58%). It basically hedges your bets.

It's not about what they could or not be doing though. Timing tells are about probabilities - just like most things in poker. Someone that goes check-raise bet bet all in could just be his cat walking on his keyboard...but that's way less likely than him just having a very strong hand. A probability in poker doesn't have to be 100% for it to be extremely useful...just like you don't need to be right everytime you bluffcatch the river for it to be profitable. You just need to be right enough of the time, according to the pot odds. If one can be right about a timing tell read, even if just a fraction of the time, it will already be sufficient to make a profit relative to not using the timing tell. Hope that clarifies! If you still think differently however, I can respect that. You can avoid using it while I will keep using it myself

You can avoid using it while I will keep using it myself"_ Im not a pro, but I do have a positive win rate - and I too use timing tells in borderline situations - although I get the feeling you use them more than me. In my experience, the timing tells are more accurate in cash game settings than MTT (my pref. choice of game). It will be profitable to account for timing - but again in my experience, it gives way more information when instant/quick actions are made, rather than the use of time bank. We don't have to agree - thanks for interacting!
