I feel like it's so hard to really know what food/diet is truly the best nowadays cause there's so much conflicting information. Lots of people think veganism is 100% the healthiest diet, but then there's other people who swear by keto, low carb, gluten free, carnivore etc.

'To go cold turkey' means to completely stop something, and have to put up with not having it.

But I think we only use this word "menu" to talk about food in restaurants and when we talk about programmes, we use the word "list" like : This programme isn't on the list. It means it is off the list not the menu. When it comes back, it is back on the list. Please, I want more clarification.

We're not 100% sure of your question, but to clarify: Going cold turkey means to stop doing a habit immediately. Rather the gradually stopping doing something, it means that you totally give up there and then. It is an immediate stop to a (usually bad) habit. Does that help you, Christopher?
