I'm so sorry Eric and Allison. Losing a parent is one of the hardest things we face in our lives and our hearts go out to you. We lost my mom last year and you have been an inspiration to me and my fiancée. We are renovating our own vintage Coachmen. Aw man. Can I just say, on behalf of the entire TEA community, we just love you guys so much ❤ You bring so much light & joy into people's lives. We really appreciate that you two exist in this world and that you are willing to share your lives with us. I'm so sorry that you are both having to deal with such a heavy burden at such a young age 😞💔 The fact that each of you are experiencing a similar situation around the same time means you can be an incredible support for each other during this difficult and heartbreaking time in your lives. Having wonderful family surrounding you also helps. I have my own personal stories that I could share but there are already so many comments and I don't want to overwhelm you guys so I will just leave it at that. Know that we are all behind you and sending you so much love right now. To you and your respective families. RE: your survey request...... I put my answers in order of preference but, honestly, I would be happy with ANYTHING you guys choose to do and I will always be a devoted supporter & follower of your channel. I did the survey, but tbh, just do whatever works better with your life and current family commitments... The best thing of this channel is not your adventures, your quirky vehicles, not even 'our' beloved Clementine... it's you, with your personality, your enthusiasm, and even your moments of sadness and worry - so you just do you, I'm sure your viewers will be here! Big hug to both 😘

So sorry for the bad news! My little two cents, having lost both my parents, is to spend enough time with your parents, and tell them everything you are feeling, so that you will have no regrets later. You have the rest of your lives for the Endless Adventure, so take this break for the quality family time. I stored my trailer for years in a CA lot, too, and it was fine the whole time. Maybe buy the old silver trailer and fix it up nearby and spend lots of time with your loved ones as much as possible.

I love the fact that your channel is not just the highlights but includes real life. I love when you guys were building Clementine and it was obvious that you were not professionals, but that didn't stop you from doing a beautiful job. I also love how you support each other during the hard times of your lives and the fact that you share that with us is priceless. My father died and August 2021 my mom died in March 2022. I know that pain and I miss them dearly. I do have my moments when I wish I could just talk to them one more time, be with them, break bread with them, and love on them. Just so you know it's not all Millennials who are watching you. I am a black man that was born in the Baby Boomer generation (1957) and we love your videos. My mom passed away suddenly during the night 5 years ago. It totally wrecked me for 3 years. Just wrecked me. I am a casino inspector. The first year was brutal. I would be on a casino floor and a random thought would pop in my head of my mom and I would begin crying. The fact that you both manage to continue to make videos is incredible. I do not envy you the job you have while Eric is going through this or Allison having had gone through this. Although, I would have liked to have had an edit button when my mom's death was tearing me up most. Best of luck to you both. My heart goes out to Eric during this time. Of the things you could do for content, I think you should choose something super close to home and that keeps you busy. The trailer is a project I would have appreciated myself back in 2019. Take care.

Do the trailer and then do a house nearby so you can stay close to family while you need to be there for them and for yourselves! You'll be able to take out frustrations that you're feeling in the demo and construction, make content for the channel, and stay in an area where you need to be right now! Family first, so be there for them, but keep your creativity going with the builds so you feel like you're still accomplishing something while being supportive. Your online family will be here for you while your real world family gets to enjoy you as well! 🙏 Prayers for you guys and your families, and I hope that the good family memories help to ease the pain and to guide and pull you through this!

In 2017 my dad was in hospital with a really sore shoulder, he'd been in about a week and on a Friday they told us they think he had cancer and they were going to put in place a treatment plan. On the Monday they told us it was pancreatic cancer and it too had spread to other organs and no treatment would work! The early hours of the next Friday, he passed away. So I know exactly how you are feeling right now. You're getting more time with your mum than I was fortunate to get, so cherish that time, give your mum the hugs and spend all the quality time you can. I've been hooked on your videos for a while now and miss them when there's a larger gap between releases, but that has to play second fiddle now, family comes first. Like others, I really appreciate you guys opening up, you're right, it's sometimes hard to remember there's a real life behind the camera and sometimes you just need to take a step back! I hope even as your hearts are still carrying the grief of Allison’s mom passing and the anticipated loss of your mom Eric that you take every minute you can to be with your family, to create whatever little treasured memories you can while taking time to take care of yourselves and each other. We’ll always be here when you upload but please only do so if it gives you a little reprieve and outlet for your joy or pain. Eric, when a parent dies even though we might be adults it brings up the child in us and so the grief is particularly deep and poignant but with a life time of being loved by your mom and loving her in return it should be no other way. I end as I began, I’m so sorry.

I went through Pancreatic cancer with my Dad, he passed away 12 years ago. When you said that your Mom had it too it brought back so many memories. Hang in there, it's a tough road ahead. You will get through it together. Sending lots of hugs.

I am so sorry to both of you. I lost my mom 2 years ago, I have lost grandparents, mom dad, I was a widow at a young age, but my mom was always there. It was so tough seeing her go through breast & uterine cancer, the surgeries and the treatment, but it is comforting to me to know that i was there for her supporting and loving her. Big hugs from Maryland.

Hi y’all - I’ve watched your antics and adventures for many years now, and I must say that this vlog is the best one you’ve ever made. I say that because you were authentic and warm and raw, and this glimpse into your life is very brave and honest and encapsulates the relationship you have with your viewers, many of which, like me, would be thrilled to have y’all as friends. You’re good people. And we need good people these days. Thank you for sharing your lives us, truly. My love and luck to you and your families. ❤

I'm so sorry to hear the news about your Mom Eric. And, I've been remiss in extending my condolences to Allison on the loss of her Mom this past year. You've brought so much fun, laughter and adventure to all of us and I'm sure that's true for your Mom's as well. I know they would want you to continue to do what you do and make the very most of a life filled with love and endless adventure. God bless you all.

I’m a nurse. I used to take care of cancer patients. I’m sorry you have this to go through. Do a restaurant tour locally. I love watching you try “hole in the walls”. I found your channel during the pandemic when I was frontline. Honestly, you gave me an escape from my reality. If you don’t feel up to shooting, don’t. This is time you won’t get back. Take what you need. We will all be here when your get back

My wife and I always look forward to your adventures. Family always comes first. Spend the time you need with your loved ones. My dad passed when I was 7 yrs old. There's not a day that goes by that I don't wonder how things may have been if he were only there as I grew up. I wish I could have known him better. The memories are still there of that short time. But Eric, be thankful for the time you have with your mom. That time means so much. Our thoughts and prayers are with you both during this time. Ken / Brenda Westport Mass.

Sending big hugs to you both❤️ It’s so difficult to put on a brave face when your heart is breaking. Take some time and spend it with your Mum. Or, if you can’t sit still, why not ask your Mum what is at the top of her list for you guys to do? You can honour her in that.❤️❤️❤️ Please feel free to share all the aspects of your lives with us, we care about you guys too, not just your travel content. Life is an Endless Adventure!

Y'all. I've experienced a lot of loss this year too. I'm very sorry for this difficult time you're going through. We're the same age and we're getting to that point where these things are going to happen with increasing frequency. It's so hard to deal with and it takes so much time to process. Ugh. Good luck, my friends. You two seem like some wonderful people and thousands of us are with you in spirit.

If Eric's mom is able, take her along with you guys on a short trip. Or get one of those bigger RVs like clementine and have the entire family join you guys. She gets time with you guys and travel with the "comforts" of home. And if you're super adventurous, get a class A. You don't have to film/make public the whole thing, just let her enjoy time with you guys.

We buried my dad last Sunday. Three weeks earlier, we took him on his dream trip to Alaska. I know he was holding out for our trip. My heart hurts, as does yours. But, ask her every question you can. There are so many things I wish I could ask now. Small things, like details on his childhood stories we heard over the years, things about my grandparents, etc. I am the oldest now and I wish I knew those things to tell my children. Love you both! God bless your hearts. 💕

So sorry to hear. I lost my dad to pancreatic cancer in 2008. I wish I could tell you something other than that it truly sucks. Please know that you and Allison have created a community that is here to support you and understands that you're going through one of the toughest chapters of your lives. Don't feel like you have to do anything you don't want to do. We will understand if you guys don't post as often or if the video's aren't a highlight reel of your lives. Your videos have helped so many of us in many of our dark times and we would be honored to be able to help support you in yours.

I’d watch whatever you guys decide to do next, it doesn’t matter if it’s a reno or house hunting or even if it’s a day in the life style vlog - I’m in! I’ve been watching you guys for years now and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. Take care. ❤❤❤

Take all the time you need. Spend as much time as you can with your mom - it’ll bring you all so much comfort. Family is the most important thing to focus on. It’s okay to be emotional on camera. We’re all here for the realness - good and sad. I love the idea of you both fixing up a house, but I can see you getting some land and setting up a stomping ground for other vanlifers, campers, travelers, Airbnb style set up. Regardless, you’ll make the decision that works best for you. And you’ll rock at it.

I lost my parents and a couple of close family members in the last few years, and I have to say that grief is a trip. What I have been most thankful for is our healing house. To be able to find a property to nurture and heal yourselves, a property that will nurture as you love it back into condition, if you have the opportunity to create a soft place to land, I wouldn’t pass that opportunity up.

So sorry to hear about your news eric and Alison. My dad passed away from pancreatic cancer that was also very aggressive despite months of chemo. I was so lucky to be able to take some time away from college to be there with him everyday in his last few months, and I never regretted taking that time to be there. My only advice is to make sure to tell your mom everything you want to say to her everyday. Wishing your families the best.❤❤❤

Sorry for your sad news. My dad was diagnosed with head and neck cancer. He was given 6 months to live but died 3 weeks ago. This was 3 and 1/2 years after his diagnosis. Your spot on doing things close to home. Spend this time with your mum and make great memories. Maybe do a project your mum can watch the progress on. I love watching you guys from Brisbane, Australia. Keep being positive.
