you have to keep in mind that sbang is not just meant to be flown solely in a field setting , some of the best sbang pilots utilize trees and structures. practicing rewinds , flat spins , inverted yaw tracks not so much just inverted yaw spin , matty flips , etc .. these techniques combined with a mind for the visual outcome your trying to achieve is essential to sbang.

Thanks for the comment! Yea, the really advanced guys are great at adding all those elements into their style while still remaining distinct from flow style. Its very impressive

I've been studying a lot of sbang for the last month or two, not bad, the three key things I've narrowed sbang down to is like arcs, upside down yaw spins, and rewinds. Those three have to be perfect, and I've struggled especially with rewinds. Then beyond that there's a feel of like long sections where you describe arcs, by super fast complicated rewinds or tricks.... A sbang pilot will also always pause in rolls at 180, even if they don't do a yawspin. Listen to a lot of MJ while practicing. lol It's very much like pop and locking dancing.

Hmm that makes sense- I'll have to try that when flying sbang next! Thanks for watching and for the comment!! 🙂

I think what makes sbang look cool is coordinating your rolls .to where the horizon is always in the center. I like to add opposite yaw to rolls to keep the horizon in view. Like try pushing the sticks together or apart from each other when rolling.
@propabilityfpv Жыл бұрын
That’s a good tip, didn’t notice that initially. I’ll have to try it out!

Use near linear rates for good Sbang. You want a lot of sensitivity in your center stick
@BlackBirdFPV Жыл бұрын
Great video and that is nice to see pilots make interest in these kind of style! You are right about the tuning that is very important but also the rates do 50% of the job. There is literaly sbang rate ( linear) or juicy rates and one of other will make you by instinct fly different. You can try mine that is a in between ( pur sbang rate to fly like marius fpv have no expo ) Raceflight rate mode: 790 30 65 790 30 65 570 32 75 Full sbang rate would be same but remove all the expo and add 10 on yaw you will need simulator to handle these very sensitive rate ( to make no any correction and keep the constant robotic look) but you will see that will change the whole thing. Have fun dude!

Heyo! Thanks for the comment. Sbang is such a cool style, I'm really looking forward to getting better at it. I'll have to try out linear rates and see how it feels. Thanks for the tip!

honestly i think any style is just as hard as the others if you truly master it. Getting to the basic level may be harder for some styles but try mastery of anything is another thing

Hey, great video man. You're spot on with the observation on momentum. That's the biggest difference in my opinion. It's what made Johnnyfpv so unique back in the day

great flying, fr. one of my prime spots out here is just a flat field -- Last two sessions I got there and felt limited by the open space, but I def need to expand my trick repertoire. this gave me a little motivation to show up to the open field and put in that work

Hi nice vidéo! my biggest advice to sbang would be to "unlink" every tricks....it' s almost like using only one axis at the time. (sorry if it's meaningless but it's hard to translate) if you using the pitch forward you don' t use the roll....

No that’s actually a great tip, thanks!!

What's the tuning video you mentioned?
@propabilityfpv10 ай бұрын
This is the one I used, it was actually pretty easy to follow and changing settings through OSD massively reduced the time it took. I had the whole thing tuned pretty well in about a half hour once I understood the steps. But yea, it should get you started at least! kzbin.info/www/bejne/qX-kh2edrcSaeLs

I just got into Sbang like 6 months ago, and I have to admit that it's the hardest style ever. there are many variations of sbang like flow, proximity, and this speed Sbang where you push hard to the edge & you can combine some slow and fast paces. it's a very catchy style for sure. Here is the recent one I did like a few days back - kzbin.info/www/bejne/oJ-lZ2yal8dmsMU
@propabilityfpv Жыл бұрын
Good stuff dude, yours looks great! Definitely want to do more of this, it’s just so different than my usual style it’s hard to even think of what to do and how to make it look good lol.
@pennzoilgtr Жыл бұрын
@@propabilityfpv Haha thanks man, it's pretty hard to describe how to fly and make it look good. After watching and examining different juicy pilots, I realized most of them have their own uniqueness when it comes to juicy Sbang. none of them look identity, but you are able to see they are related to each other lol. After all, Juicy Sbang is about going for the feel. it's the feel that you want to express. There are a few things that are very important that are attributed to this style, primarily how precise and clean the move is and zero micro-adjustments that give that stable and locked feel. being able to attain these few attributes makes you a decent juicy pilot. haha
@Viseo3dp6 ай бұрын
your rates are to high for smooth flowing freestyle your rates are choppy
@propabilityfpv6 ай бұрын
I disagree. I have a nice soft resolution center and moderate max rate that isn't too crazy. It allows me to do a good combination of flow and juicy.
