another random question- is there anything you can recommend in lieu of HRT? I'm 42 and beginning to experience some peri-menopausal symptoms, but i'm unable to take any HRT (strong family hx of breast ca following use of HRT w/ several female family members)...just not a risk i'm willing to take. I'm very healthy, fit, and eat a clean diet, so i'm doing as much as i can without the "help" of anything synthetic (hormonally).

@@gabriellaquerales3997 Well because Latin is technically not a race, I think it would be dependent on one’s ancestry or racial make up. You can be Latin and be European, Native/Indigenous or African, or more commonly, a mixture of all I only know that East Asian and Sub Saharan Africans do keloid more, so they likely have very active fibroblasts which is why they may respond well to collagen stimulators.

I agree that it is a comprehensive multi action approach for best results . I just want to maintain my face as much and as long as possible because to be honest I am afraid to not recognize myself in the mirror. I see my mom who has done nothing and also smokes and drinks......I dont want that. I dont smoke or drink. Use HRT , sunscreen, microneedling, microcurent, vit c , retinal, growth factors, and sculptra is my best weapon. Its an amazing product but I feel it's like anything else in that you still must have a skin care routine that involves protection against further damage as well as a total wellness approach . I also agree with another thing you talked about in another video about maintaining dental health. So important to keep gum tissue and bone because it will resort. Hello, update on my Sculptra face and neck which I have done aprox two months ago and so far no side effects, nodules or bumbs. I am very pleased with it, I think I start to notice some improvements. My next session is on february, I cant wait. I plan to do a Sculptra manteinance because I personally am afraid of a facelift, no to mention the costs. I dont think I will be doing a facelift in this life. :D

Good luck, I’ve myself researched a bit and stopped at a doctor which I’ve seen does a lot of Sculptra treatments and is also a trainer in Sculptra, I wanted someone that uses Sculptra often so is very skilled. I wanted to do the neck also because I want to keep the neck in good shape too so you don’t see the signs of aging on the neck compared to the face. I’ve massaged it a lot after the injection and so far so good. Good luck with the HRT too, perimenopause sucks, I want to go on HRT too. :D

@ I started on birth control so that I could try and prevent some of the symptoms of peri/menopause. They say you can stay on that until 55. Also Sculptra is very risky in the neck. I tried it and I did develop some scar tissue that was more visible but it was only visible to me when I extended my neck. The skin has thickened since, so it’s a lot less visible, it.s barely there now but it did not address the crepey skin that I still see in certain positions. Gonna try this other biostimulator.

Based on your channel and other enthusiasts about Sculptra, I got 4 vials spaced out over 3.5 months about a year and a half ago at a highly rated skin clinic in LA. I’m 46. I waited to see any sign of change, took meticulous photos looking for the slightest difference. Nothing. Spent thousands and it’s not an enjoyable experience to have the injections either. I just want to share because man it seemed like it was going to be a sure thing based on what ppl say but it was an absolute waste of my time, money and a total disappointment. I hope others have the success they are hoping for. Not sure why nothing happened for me.

Just came to say NO it does not replace a face lift. Also sculptra produce different type of collagen than normal supple collage is. More like close to scar tissue ( which is collagen) . This may make a face lift surgery more challenging in the future. Also your description of what a face lift is, was something was last time done in the 70`s. A face lift ( deep plane) goes all the way down to the bone and lifts everything. You can NOT lift dropped muscle, fat, and skin layers with ANY filler. I have been a plastic surgery consultant for a plastic surgeon for 15 years. All this info comes from him.

Depends on your age... as a late 40-something myself, I'm for a FL, injectables can end up costing the same over the years, at least with a FL you can get a lot fixed at once.. after that then its just about botox and skin texture improving modalities.... I did think sculptra at one point, but once perimeno hits, you realise nothing but surgery will fix what has fallen. So I've chosen a under structure FL, happening in a month, I can't wait.

Hi Emily. I have a question regarding sculptra. I’ve been following you for a while and have done lots of my own research on the matter; however would you be able to use sculptra right under the nose if it tightens skin?
