That squeak may also be the ICON lower coil over mount bearing, the one that the lower control arm bolt goes through. I thought my upper where making the noise but is was the lower steel bush. They get dirt and rust then squeak. Spray some WD40 or similar on both side see if it stops. Unfortunately the long term fix is pull the lower bearing caps and grease.
@LifestyleOverland4 жыл бұрын
You're hitting the nail on the head 😉 more to come on ol' sqeauky!

Lifestyle Overland looking forward to it. You saved my butt when you broke the ICON top hat, in Alaska. I then checked mine and found a crack just before a big trip. I must thank you again 🙏. The top hats crack (I think) from excessive movement left to right caused by loose or wear in the lower steel bushes. The upper also get loose but not as bad as the lower. I’m sure you already know, they need to be greased and cleaned regularly, the centre bearings and spacers need to be replaced as soon as they get loose. . I love my ICON suspension but like most high performance gear they sometimes need special maintenance. Luckily it’s a easy fix.
