Excellent video guys I really enjoy the road shots of the terrain you're travailing. I'm sure it takes a lot of extra work setting up cameras and such, but well worth the end result. Thank you so much! PS black

@lifestyleoverland, LOL we did the same thing you did when we hit Silverton and got out as fast as we could. Ground zero for "SXS guy" made it one of the least desirable areas in our 35 days of camping in Colorado this summer. Thank goodness it was one of our only disapointments of the whole trip.

Coffee has to be cream and sugar. I have a strong sweet tooth. OMG, when you put the steaks on the flat iron, I heard them go TSHSHSHSHSH even with the music running. They looked great. The mountain vistas were amazing. Colorado is one of the best looking states in the union. Excellent video as usual.

Great explanation of airing down, I think most view it as for rock crawling only. I'll take a comfortable ride on gravel anytime. Black if it's quality coffee, a little sugar if it's Army grade. Rolls by the water!

Coffee with French Vanilla creamer. I want to thank you for introducing me to the oven. On our last trip we had pizza for lunch while the people around us had sandwiches. LOL Also, thanks for, in a round-about-way, convincing me that we (I) need a fridge and better stove. We have used a Coleman cooler for our trips, and even though we are not necessarily overlanding or even camping, we do fix meals on the trails and roads when touring.

I just retired last Feb and wanting to go see our great country. You can see the rig i use on my channel, it's just my name. I do pull a trailer, and have dog too. Input you can share would be great. Bacon and coffee and steak and cake. Repeat. You guys allergic to veg?!? :) Awesome though. Black french coffee with a simple in mug filter, three demerera sugars, same mug, same spoon, every morning. Then tea all day, Yorkshire ideally. If no milk available then earl grey. Never thought of maple syrup and maybe I should not be trying it :) Safe travels.

Funny. When I get to the end of a 4x4 dirt road my DR650SE has gone further. Often just a half-mile to enter abandoned roads built to harvest timber. Two years ago 2,000 miles of such roads were gated to halt 4x4 vehicle entry but other public visitors are allowed to travel that extent. I ride to locate karst (nss@caves.org) and will continue going to where the sun never shines.

Why would you sweeten something that is meant to be bitter??? They say not to trust a man that puts sugar in his coffee... Putting any sweetening in my coffee is definitely not my cup-of-tea... But if half, half and tree sap works for you, go for it!!! Especially because in all her effort she made that piping hot and strong black one for you! Have fun! Keep the coffee coming!

I make coffe every morning in my mocka brewer (bialetti) and drinks it black. But I like tea as well. A question for you that I have been struggling with myself; how do let your daughter meet other kids? I mean there usually are few to none other kids on the trail in my experience. Do you stop at random playground and let her play for a few hours when you pass one fuelling up or buying food? My son think it gets boring after a few days without other kids.

Rode my motorcycle there in 2017 and was shocked at all the atv/utv traffic racing into the mountains. Not my style. I like taking my time. It's a long fall to the bottom. Had to rescue a biker who had rode off the edge once. It wasn't fun.

7 days without a shower.... I called that a normal field problem in the army 😅 in iraq 2003 I burried my socks and underwear cause they were too filthy to wash I think we went 30 days without a shower and only 4 sets of uniforms and 10 pair of socks and underwear.... once you do that you understand the importance of camp showers ha ha ha
