Compared to like 95% of other jobs in every other industry; I’d say it’s a definitive yes.

Hi @InternetMadeCoder I just wanted to ask about your Python Bootcamp, do you have a video covering that by any chance as I can't seem to find if you have? I'm looking at changing careers and came across your Software Developer vids. Great video 😊

Been working on my portfolio. Yes, it's hard. But because it's hard, it also means there's a demand for it. Currently working to become really competent with React, SQL and Node.js. I already know the basic web stack well enough.

Aren't they too saturated I have already finish mern and react and nextjs and will be doing a cse degree next year but I wonder if it is worth it

@@kaushikroy3347 Everything is saturated.

@@kaushikroy3347 Its not worth it. I have over 20 years experience and things are changing so much. Companies are laying off as many swes as they can because there is no longer a need for most swes. It really isn't worth it when you take into account how much you have to do. ai has really destroyed the career of swes. I can say within 5 years, 90% of engineers will be gone from the industry. Time is precious so if I was you I would go into another career where ai cannot affect such as blue collar work because thats where the money is.

Dude your content is great, but what's with the constant sound effects? It feels like a tik tok video or a scam ad. We don't have adhd and want to listen to what you're saying.

I would say tech jobs became even a bit better with mainstream and career engineers entering. However it does not compare to how good tech and software engineering could be if you find likeminded and skillful people do to your own projects and that is unfortunately where the mainstream and money economy did the most hurt. People are complacent for looking for big tech and shy away from a more adventurous, most likely more lucrative, but slightly risky way of life to hide behind a big tech company and call yourself "smart" and "privileged" cop out.

Prestige doesn’t come from working at a certain company. When I hear that, I’m boiling inside; outside, I look like you just offended my family. Want prestige? Become a Doctor of Medicine or earn a STEM PhD.
@mecanuktutorials6476Ай бұрын
The “prestige” arises from people thinking it is more competitive than Ivy Leagues and making employees rich. Both of those are obvious fallacies unless you joined at the right time 20 years ago.
