3/4 stack when one of the partners is slower. And it's better to switch, than to stack from the sideline. That way, you can call off the switch if the serve is wide to the sideline, or very difficult to return well.

So if I am playing normally on the left side, for fire fights and fast hands exchanges should I be sliding to counter with my forehand or my backhand (I am right-handed)?

Good question 👍… This typically comes down to where you’re attacked. I am right handed as well. I try to sit backhand even from the left side, and most of my counters are manageable if not better with my backhand. I learned from a pro early on to basically counter everything with my backhand. Even balls that are slightly to my right. If I have to reach/stretch further to my right, then those are the only balls that are a forehand. The only other time I use my forehand from the left side is typically an Erne. But even lots of those sometimes are backhand, cross-court. Give it a try.🧠

Ok this has nothing to do with stacking (well it kinda does) so I was thinking about this for some reason, and didnt want to ask any other 2 dudes....do the rules allow a player to play with 2 paddles...no seriously! Think about it. How would you adapt? could you imagine 2 forehands....

Ha ha thanks for your comment. It is against the rules to play with two paddles. If it was allowed, personally, I think it would hurt my game more than help it.😂 It might be beneficial to the ambidextrous though. It would still be tough having fast hands at the kitchen though.

I hope the game just changes to rally scoring where you don’t even have to think about stacking.

I used to be completely against it, but I kind of like the idea of rally scoring lately 👍
