How can the use of intermediaries (wasila) be haram or biddat when Allah Himself used arch angle Gibraeel as the medium to send the verses of Qur'an to the Holy prophet PBUH. No where its known that Allah talked to prophet Muhammad (saws) directly as He talked to Moses at Kohe Toor when His voice was heard direct through a tree, but even then the tree was used as a medium. So if Allah used Gibraeel who acted as a 'Wasila' to send "wahi" and verses to the prophet, then same can be done in return to invoke Allah thru Prophet and masoom, who by the way are even higher than Gibraeel or any other angel or humans. Therefore in my conclusion, the act of using 'wasila' is actually taught to us by Allah. So where's the problem? .

Thanks sheikh, I've had some problems with this lately and talked to a couple of my friends. My question has always been, if Allah already is close to us, why do we need tawasul? I before this thought, if we can go to the CEO (to which you said that Allah is close to us but we're not close to him), why do we need to go to those serving him? Sometimes these doubts made me doubt the shia sect (not the imams(as) and how perfect they are, but the section in itself and that there are many new things put into ut). Nevertheless, my love for the ahlul bayt always increases whenever I hear about their ahadith and how they used to behave. You answered these doubts of mine so beautifully and even showed examples from the Qur'an, I'll inshallah watch the video again and really copy it into my mind. @@daniel.313m thanks brother / syster, it was an amazing video, but I have two final questions please If Allah يجيب دعوه الداعي, if he answeres the one who prays to him, isn't it sufficient for us to only do دعاء? Yes, there have been instances such as with the prophet asking Allah to forgive some, and عيسى (as) creating a bird by the permission of Allah, but in what way is that commanding us to ask the imams to forgive us? I understand that we can look into their character and learn from that --> implement that --> closeness to Allah. But asking the imams to forgive us, where? Secondly, is it then shirk to say that the imams are healing us, keeping us safe? I understand if they're doing it by the will of Allah, but then it's actually Allah who is healing and keeping us safe, through them. So why say the imams are doing it, when it's actually Allah. If there would've been an ayah or hadith (shar3ian) pointing it out, that would also be very appreciated Thanks for any answers my brother/syster!

@@mohammedodah4274 Why do you ask the imams to forgive us? Tawassul is more like “oh ahlulbayt please ask Allah to forgive me” or “please make dua for me for my forgiveness”. @@mohammedodah4274 I did answer this brother. The answer is intercession. This is something we find in Shia hadith and also we find in Quran as interpreted by ahlulbayt. You shouldn’t care what Sunni fiqh (halal and haram) says because you try follow Shia fiqh not Sunni fiqh but still even the Sunnis have concept of intercession on day of judgment. Allah has made ahlulbayt the ark of Noah according to Sunni and Shia hadiths. If we get on top of the ark, we will be saved. If we leave ahlulbayt then we will drown in an ocean of deviance, opinions, innovations, etc.

Brothers and sisters, please lets try to understand Tawassul correctly as there are so many ways we can go wrong in that we have to be crystal clear and try our best to steer away from mistakes and innovations. In my humble opinion and understanding from both Shia and Sunni sources, if we do it (tawassul) in this manner it is correct and no problem with it: O Allah, I beg of you and beseech you by the truth of your love for prophet Mohammad (and his ahlul bayt) to forgive me and.... Now the problems start and innovation come in when the sentence becomes this way: O Mohammad (O Ali, etc.), I beg of you and beseech you to ask Allah on my behalf to.... The problem with the second sentence is that NONE except Allah is the All Hearer of our prayers. In the first sentence we invoke Allah first and then try to appeal to Him through His most beloved creation Prophet Mohammad and so on down the line. So lets be crystal clear to remove all doubts and misconceptions, remember the Salavaat: O Allah, send blessings and salutation upon Mohammad and His Progeny Pay attention to who is invoked first, and indeed it is Allah, because it makes a huge difference and Allah Himself has in multiple places in the Quran has commanded us to not invoke anyone besides Allah as in Quran (40:14, 72:18, 46:5-6 26:213, 10:106-107) and also in all supplications from the Quran Allah (Rabbana) is mentioned first. Also in this video in minute 6 second 48 pay attention to the dua of prophet Adam who is invoked first. When Allah is invoked first He has power over all things and can do what He wills including informing His prophet from whatever He wills of news of His creation, etc. but the other way around is not the case and Allah knows best.

@@SurvivorShukur brother you just mixed up a number of things which is a clear sign of confusion on your part, you need to do more study and investigation on all of these cases and EnShaAllah find clarity. We have to make a distinction between when a prophet is physically living amongst the people when they ask of him something in person and then he raises his hands and prays to Allah and after the prophet has died and put into the grave. Besides, look into the Quran 40:14, 72:18, 46:5-6, 26:213, 10:106-107 to understand more clearly and Allah knows best.

@@SurvivorShukur Yes Indeed they may be alive in some form with Allah (not physically because their bodies are in the grave until the day of resurrection) however we have other verses of the Quran where Allah mentions that we cannot make the dead hear (Quran 27:80), also people regardless of if they are dead or alive cannot all of a sudden become "all hearing" and that is an attribute only for Allah and we only have a few hadith from our prophet saying again an Angel will bring him the Salams of people and that's it, Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him and his progeny) as far as I know never asked people to make himself an intermediary between a believer and Allah in worship, prayers, in dua or supplication and Allah knows best. The safer and most agreed upon method by all schools of Islamic thought is to invoke Allah first and then if you want to use the prophet, his family, the righteous people and others after that as a form of concession then there is no problem or confusion.

I also never claimed shirk upon anyone who engages in questionable practices in religion without a clear proof and I also don’t think it correct to exaggerate the position of Ahlulbayt above and beyond their rightful place or above and beyond the prophet of Allah Jesus (peace be upon him). I'm a Shia. But I believe in asking directly from Allah. The Prophets and Imams were our guides . They were sent to us to show ya and guide us on the right path. They spoke only what Allah asked them to We have to fashion our lives on the lines of lives of Prophet and Imams The life in this world is like a moment as Holy Prophet would say like a traveller resting under agree for a while and restarting his journey. Our focus should be on the Hereafter life. In this temporal life we every day have some problem or the other. If this is from Allah, prewritten or pre ordained then it's better we accept it as wish of God and have patience There is no point generally is hitting worried and praying for worldly things which all of Our Prophets and Imams denounced. Secondly we as Shias should follow in the footsteps if our Imams. Our Imams prayed to Allah and asked only from Him. And many Shias are not asking from Imams. They are physically not present in front of us. What they or Prophets did when they were physically present in front of people is different from what the Shohdas can or cannot do when they are physically not present The Quran says about Shohda , " Don't call them dead....But you'll not understand. " If Quran say you'll not understand, and you say you understand about Shohda and ask from them, you are negating Quranic Ayats. And most of the time you are asking from Imams ( not in front of you ) , you are asking from their graves, you are asking from bricks, mortars, granites of their graves, you are asking from Alams, you are asking from the cloth if the Alams Isn't this Shirk. For me the question of Wasila doesn't arise at all because I've stopped asking Worldly favour from Allah or anyone. I ask only for Akhira.

@IcekrimBeats 2 жыл бұрын
Hi my brother! I hope everything is well on your end. You said some pretty interesting points in your comment and I'd even like to Thank You for commenting and sharing knowledge. This being said, I'd say that there is nothing wrong in asking well for this Dunya + Akhirah, just like the following dua in the Quran: ¨Rabbana atina fid dunya hasanatan wa fil Aakhirati hasanatan waqina ‘adhaban-nar¨ (2:201). I personnally think that if Allah put it in the Quran, it is because he also wants us to use it (since Quran is also the infallible Source of Islam & Knowledge). We should also direct our duas ONLY to ALLAH. Muhammad s.w.s. was only a Messenger, just like it's said in Surah Ali 'Imran: ¨Muhammad is no more than (only) a Messenger, and Messengers have passed away before him¨ (3:144). The Quran says that Muhammad s.w.s. was ONLY a MESSENGER. Yes Ahlul Bayt has been purified just like it's said on Surah Al-Ahzab: ¨Allah only wishes to remove uncleanness from you, O members of the (Prophet's) household, and to purify you completely¨ (33:33). But I don't think we should put Imams in such a high pedestal just like Shia's foundation on Imamat. The Quran emphasize on Muhammad s.w.s. being ONLY a Messenger so let's follow him and not indulge in any sort of innovation which would progressively indulge in Shirk (Shia's tawassul is quite questionable, regardless of one's intention). Just like it's written in Surah Ali 'Imran: ¨If you really love Allah, then follow me, and Allah shall love you and forgive you your sins. Allah is Most-Forgiving, Very-Merciful.” (3:31). ¨Follow me¨ --> ¨not worship me¨ or ¨ask through me¨. The Prophet s.w.s. did not use any intermediary for his supplications. Following him would therefore mean that we should lead our supplications ONLY to ALLAH Almighty. ¨Sunnah¨ for sure has it's wrongs due to the fact of Bukhari being bogus (which is their most reliable source). There are some wrongs everywhere (EXCEPT IN TRUE ISLAM, TRUE HAQQ FROM ALLAH) and that's why the road of Haqq is narrow. As Muslims, we should remain steadfast and not be blinded by any kind of Ego, we MUST be self-aware about our own selves and also always ask for guidance from our Maker, since ilm ONLY comes from Allah. Islam means ¨Submission to God¨. 1. Let's not forget that Shaitan is smart & that he'll do everything to trick us into Shirk (short term AND/OR long term). 2. Let's not let Shaitan laugh at us for worshipping/asking anything OTHER THAN ALLAH. I am neither a Sunni or a Shi'i, I identify as a MUSLIM and I still say Allahuma Salli' 'ala Muhammad wa 'ala Ali Muhammad. May Allah bless and guide us all!

سلام علیکم ایه شریفه وابتغوا الیه الوسیله Is explained in the nahjul balagha speech number 70 by our beloved imam Ali (as) Imam says wasila is believing in Allah swt and doing righteous deeds. I think if we pray like the following there is no doubt in it. یا الله به مقام محمد و ال محمد Give me such and such. The interesting this is that in all these riyawaats which deals with the issuance of the threat and the altercation at the door of bibi fatima s.a...it is Bibi Fatima s.a at the door and omar is directly issuing a threat to her, it is not Imam Ali a.s at the door!!
