As someone in insurance claims, this would be the best $20 anyone could spend. So many accidents could be resolved with a cheap camera like this. You don't usually need to read the plate, and audio is pretty useless when it comes to what happened in an accident. Quality is good compared to others I've reviewed

For the price you cant beat this ANYWHERE. All of the features that it advertises work as designed. My dealbreaker is that between every clip theres about a 15 second “non-recording” period. This comment should serve useful for anyone within the final stages of deciding.

Hi Jeremy. Thank you for posting this - much appreciated. At 10'15" you refer to the cabin camera as being awful. Your decision was probably due to the fact that nothing could be seen out the rear window. Well, this particular camera was only meant to be for viewing inside the cabin - perhaps in the event of an accident one gets to see the trauma of what happens inside the car. I have bought the same model dash cam, but with 3 cameras instead of two, the third camera being separate from the main body and which attaches to the rear windscreen, facing outwards into the road directly behind the car. This connects to the main dash cam by way of a separate cable which one presumably runs from the rear camera, along the length of the car, either above or below the doors, to the main dash cam. This is the camera which should (hopefully) give you decent rear view vision. As I said, I have bought the same model dash cam, only with 3 lenses instead of two (apparently there are two versions of this dash cam - one with 2 camera lenses and one with 3. Thankfully, I bought the one with 3). I've only just received mine and haven't yet had time to set it all up so I can't comment on the quality. The reason I bought mine was not only for helping in the event of a genuine accident - many insurance companies appreciate dash cam footage, but also to act as a deterrent against the ever-increasing "crash for cash" scams that could happen. Whilst I'm not old, I am getting older and I know these scammers tend to pick on the elderly because they see them as "easy pickin's". Hopefully this won't happen if they see I've got a dash cam in the car = particularly one that records both front and rear activities!

Got this for Christmas this year and it works very well. Had to fiddle with it as there are little to no instructions when unpacking. Still use my expensive one at night though when driving as it has night vision whereas the Temu one only gives that function inside the cab and not outside which is a shame. However saying that, the Temu one is just under £18 so well worth it if you can't spread out for a more expensive one.

I just commented on your other video of the same cam. I bought the exact same dash cam here in Mexico and this video was very helpful. The funny thing is that, even if everything is an exact copy from specs, case, and buttons, it's listed as a different brand and also includes a rear camera for the back of the car which likely upped the price to $46 usd (but I probably won't use anyway). I just wanted an affordable dash cam that I can easily install and gets the job done.

See my use for this is actually the cabin camera. See i didnt buy it to see out the rear window, I wanted it to capture if someone broke into the car. A mere few inches from the camera, it'll do just fine. So yes, very much get what you pay for but it does work.

I just got this, delivered yesterday and trying to figure it out. Looks like the same model I got except mine has a 3rd camera to go in the back windshield. I'm trying to figure out how to set the date and time. The instructions aren't very detailed. Someone also commented about a 15 second delay between recording 😮 That's concerning, especially if I wreck or some other incident happens and it doesn't get recorded.

Hello! mine also lost a few seconds of recording with each new loop. After a lot of research through the dash cam's instruction manual, I discovered one that mentions this problem and explains that it occurs due to the SD card not being a high-speed C10 category. Many SD cards claim to have technical characteristics that do not correspond to reality, which is what happened to me.

FYI, you need a dascham that auto updates the correct time and date everytime you turn it on if you present a dashcam video in court and the time and date is wrong, it will not be accepted as evidence. I use the Garmin dashcam mini 2, I have 5 of them linked together via Garmin drive app and have 360 degree video outside of the car and one interior camera.

Nice unboxing. But in my state the camera would be too big. The max dimension is 4 sq. in. (2x2). The main problem is an epidemic of tailgating! On solution would be for safe drivers to be able to turn on their backup cameras whenever they are driving to document tailgating behavior. Would be great to catch their harassing antics on camera. The device you have there wouldn’t work in my state for two reasons: 1) obviously it’s too big, and 2) seeing the rear cabin behind the driver wouldn’t capture the car/truck directly behind your car. A camera specifically designed to monitor what’s happening back there would be a great deterrent for tailgaters, if they notice the camera in your rear view window. The icing on the cake would be to have the traffic division of your town or city’s police department mail a ticket to the offending tailgater. That would likely stop or drastically reduce following too close. The reason they tailgate is because there really are no deterrents.

Quick update...I did figure it out. Had to break out with a magnifying glass for the directions..lol Happy to report I'm up and running. Running it 720 and picture is just fine. Still recommend a hands on tutorial for others though.

I have one, my wife bough me one, not sure what you are paying in your different countries for the same product, we paid £14.00 about $16 or $17 usd. I have never noticed the skip, as i dont really take my off to review the footage, i did load a couple bits to you tube with no problems, quality was good for the price, back camer unless for interior is no good, but does the internal back seats decent, Only problem for me, is that i run my power from a usb lead to my radio, a temu radio, which also only cost £14, has two uasb ports and blue tooth for calls, But because its not hard wired, and does not have a trickle amount of power when car is turned off, the internal battery does not last long, so if you dont use your car for long runs, or everyday, the date and time resets to its factory time. value for money, i think so, depending on what your paying in your respective country, my car is a seond hand cheap car, so i does the job, value for people who have little money, here insurance gives you small discount for having dash cam, so the price the discount, it will pay for itself, any more questions please ask

Do you know if the back camera (for the back window) is water/weather proof? I wrecked the car I was using it in, and just got a vehicle yesterday with a hatchback. I tried every which way to position it inside but it was either pointing to the ground or pointing too far up. I finally had to run the cord through the hatchback door and gorilla tape it to the window frame. I should screw it on there but I need to make sure it's waterproof first.
