Now this is a sci fi story that just makes you want to hear a whole lot more. Just listening to them tell their story, I could just picture that tough little ship blasting away at the enemy cruisers, the crew scrambling to save their butts while destroying their enemies. Delta - V is … deadly if you can aim it. Monkeys throw rocks. Humans precisely aim depleted uranium armor piercing fin stabilized discarding sabot rounds … because tank main guns are smooth bore. Warthog dispenses small Red Bull cans made from material denser than lead. Moving the “bullets” at more than the speed of sound. Dozens of times a second. Wish we would build more of those guns for … well once you have a pile of guns you’ll find a way to use them.

Reminds me of another story were humanity are considered a joke and given all the grunt work then after the war is won the xenos found out the enemy were terrified of the humans as we were the ones going in and crippling the enemy before the battle even started

All in the best traditions of the wet navys of earth. WW2 had multiple instances of small ships fighting way above their weight, especially in the Pacific. My father was an aviator (Lt. Cmdr) in the USN during WW2. I've heard stories.

I mean, if some picket ships could have prevented the tragedy mentioned at the end of this, you can bet your butt fleet command for humans is going to ask everyone to hold until relief comes. Those frog bastards from Sur'Kesh might SAY they 'HOLD THE LINE' but nothing beats a human troop, five weeks past relief, standing there, knowing their friends and family are behind them.

The A-10 Warthog will live on into the star faring future. Except this is the story in reverse. The plane of today was an airframe draped around a weapon system. Thier's is a weapon attached to a rugged stellar craft.

I'm hoping my answer will suprise you as it sounds like you're assuming I just steal stories. It depends. Some authors definitely do get some of my ad revenue (the exact amount will remain private between me and the author), and others just want recognition. I think I'm the only KZbin channel out there to actually pay the authors' money for their work. For stories where the original author is no longer known, they can get in touch with me, and we can either work out a deal or I'll remove the story. This has happened in the past, and once they can prove they are the original author, they get either credit or some add revenue. Their choice. This has happened. They went away happy. I try to be fair to the authors (being one myself), and I want everyone to benefit from my platform, which can give authors a lot of exposure. All this being said, if you or anyone you know has some stories you'd like me to consider for my channel, please get in touch, and we can work something out. I hope this answers your question.
