I've got a 2019 Niro PHEV Ex Premium that I am quite happy with. After 15,000 miles of 80% city driving, I'm averaging 125 MPGe. The new model has some nice improvements, but exterior is a bit out there. Despite the reported improved electric range I'm content with what I have at this point

I agree RE: the low down turn signals !! They should be outlawed, we own two Santa Fe models and consider those low downs dangerous.

Lauren thank you for bringing us yes this issue about turn signal placement. please please communicate this with the other journalists and alert those automakers in designers that you have connection with to stop making ridiculous idea reality,when there's not needed .not only that it's easy to break but it's so hard to see if there's another car Behind

We have spoken with KIA designers and they are well aware of our thoughts. If they changed anything it wouldn't change for a few years.

Thank you for bringing it up -the issue about the tum signal light being placed in the bottom corner of the bumper in my opinion it's really the worst design automakers can come up with nowadays the 1st thing you would destroy when you backing up the car it will be your turn signal Lenses because it's the easiest to destroy and once you break the lenses of turm signal it's a whole lot of liability issues with the law enforcement

We leased a 2020 (new refresh style as 22 model) Niro SE Touring and just love this little car. The touring editions give you the cool looking 18" wheels that really pop although I think you feel the road imperfections/potholes a little more due to the lower amount of sidewall. (225/45/18) You gain some better handling though and we average consistently 46-51 mpg in normal driving close to home so cannot complain. This car is easy to drive and feature laden with comfort & safety features.

2:56 Hi, Aren't those low lights the white reverse lights? I own a 2019 Touring (which has a spare tire), and the turn signals on mine are not down low, they are amber and up in the LED rear lights. I live in Canada, and AWD is overrated for driving on plowed winter roads, good winter tires matter more. Anyway, I really enjoy the fuel economy when compared to my 10 year old Kia Borrego EX 4x4 V8 that I traded in for it.
