People have been asking for more rally inspired WRX’s and this chassis is a great in the middle

In the northeast as well, same exact take. Anyway, nothing is stopping people from paint matching the cladding and bumpers... it also gives people a reason to make kits.

@@On_3 at least it’s getting protected by cladding which you can replace if it gets destroyed and just really worn out overtime. Idk to me, so far, if you’re taking the car in dirt roads or in the snow (which the car was kinda designed for anyways) made sense to have the cladding on despite making the car look polarizing.

I just bought one in grey, picking it up tomorrow. Here's why I bought a WRX. Three must-haves: (1) 6-speed manual (2) AWD (3) heated seats b/c winters are cold in Buffalo, NY. That narrows the choice to maybe 10 cars. Now add performance, reliability, modification potential, and reputation. It narrowed the choices considerably. Like everyone else, I ordered a 23 Corrolla GR. Then, canceled it when I realized my chances are slim to none. Plus the GR is 3k above MSRP out the gate with a waiting time of a year minimum. The nail in the coffin wasn't the wait, It's the fact Subaru gave me a good deal on my trade, the WRX checks all the boxes, and I can get one now with all the options I need and save 10K. This is why I can shop for wheels, tires, and suspension at FI

It’s sad that Subaru discontinued on the WRX STI but then it makes sense if you look into it. Subaru discontinued the STI because California was its main buyer. (Lowkey makes sense I see them everywhere in Cali 😅) Ever since California passed a law about having ONLY electric vehicles. So The 2023 Subaru WRX STI is not coming to the U.S. or any global market. The greenhouse gas (GHG), zero-emissions vehicles (ZEV), and corporate average fuel economy (CAFE) are what killed the next-generation STI and why it’s never coming back 🤷🏻♀️ so what I am assuming is that Subaru discontinued the STI to work on their new electric car Solterra. If the Solterra sells. Then I think they’re going to bring back the STI but as an electrical car. Since again, California or just in general banning gas cars. Which is why (don’t hate it) Subaru put a lil bit more performance on the New WRX, that’s why a lot of people are liking it a bit more than the STI but that’s what I’m seeing and saying

I think maybe carbon fiber where all that plastic is might look good

I feel like this car is gonna age well. Good drive line and hopefully the 2.4 paired with it makes reliable power. This all coming from a dye hard Honda guy so take it with a grain of salt 🤣

I really do like manual transmission, the analog speedometer ,and this plastic cover to protect the car from rust, but the problem of this car is a lack of the power and sound .There is no boxer engine sound

Lack of power? It blows an sti away. And tuned? Dayum. Puts out 350 hp with no bolt ons and only a tune. Low stress on the engine. Have you driven one?

Bro come one the WRX can easily be made into a track animal or have a decent bit of horsepower, I guess you haven’t been paying attention to what they are saying about the fa24 and it’s tuning potential.
