The EQS 450+ is a new luxury SUV from Mercedes Benz. On the outside you will find a low drag coefficient on the front fascia, unique LED lighting and stationary running boards. On the inside there is tons of space and technology. Powering the 450+ are (2) electric motors. Is the 2023 Mercedes Benz EQS 450+ a new luxury SUV worth the PRICE?

I agree about the black plastic body parts. They have options for the interior so you're not stuck with just gloss black trim. They have different wood trims, etc. This is their 1st gen EV, so they did do a nice job as a 1st attempt. They do have a lot of options like massage seats, which you can't get in a Tesla. 3rd row heated seat option. They also have the 580 which does 0-60 in 4.5 sec. If I were going to get one, I'd wait for the 2nd gen to see what they do. But Mercedes does outclass Tesla with their interiors.

Plastic fenders can be painted for less than 500 bux looks ez to paint but u might have to leave the car in shop for a few days till it dries

It's all great and well till the power grid fails due overloading the power gird . I am all for it , it's a great idea 💡 but I don't think our power grid can handle all these electrice cars in my opinion but overall I am in love with Benz and your videos is truly amazing sir keep up the awesome job God bless

Black Matte Trim has to go, for 100k that is a big Zonk! I like the styling and for a single motor seems like a reasonable amount of HP to move that big boy. What kills me is that you cant open the hood...I know EVs aren't DIY friendly yet. But I'd like to not be completely held hostage by the dealership. The Star on the interior is a bit much, would prefer wood trim

You can open the hood but you need to read the shop manual for the procedure. Many MB forums show how.

Other youtubers could open the hood, just remove the black panel in the usual place, then pull the red latch. To inspect or to remove leaves an owner has to be able to open that hood. (Don't know where the 12V battery is housed?)

sweet car, but 107k + tax for just over 300 miles of range, and a 6 second 0-60 is ... not that great. also not really a fan of having hundreds of Mercedes stars on the interior dash. I'll miss the looks of the non-electric Mercedes cars :( those beasts had so much character, like the SLS AMG. this whole electrification of cars is making the cars look all gentle and curvy -- to help with aero, but pretty much all the aggressiveness has disappeared

Note: the armrest in the 2nd row does not have a cell phone holder. You forgot to slightly press that pop out 2 times which opens it all the way as a cup holder

First off, the 450 is the slow one. Also, if it doesn't have a Hyper screen then what's the point? These EQS vehicles are way too overpriced for what you get. I came close to leasing one but the dealer here in Vegas was exceptionally GREEDY. I walked, and leased a 2023 MDX TYPE-S ADVANCE. Happy with my decision. 😎

I don't know, I have a mixed feeling about this one. Looks nice but at the same time seems like they tried to try out all the finishings they had on table. Kinda busy inside but at the same time really sophisticated. I don't know. Now, a BIG NO is the white color on the trunk. Another big NO, if I buy a car I want full access.. Go to hell this manufacturers blocking access to the "frunk"
