I own one, a '25 Premium in black, and it crushes the CRV and RAV, both of which are zero fun to drive, whereas the 50 Turbo gets after it and looks bad-ass. The CRV has way too much road noise too, and the gas RAV is a dog. I don't love all the added tech nonsense or the location of the I-Stop button (I turn it off every time; I loathe valve deactivation), but for the money, the 50 cannot be beat. I own a 2019 CX-9 too, love it. (And a '22 Mach e., very cool ride.)

It is a nice looking vehicle which as a 73 YO, retiree who still likes to feel the Zoom-Zoom in a car, ths one is climbing up the list as a replacement for my 22 MDX Advance. I truly LIKE (I reserve love for people) my MDX which has been totally trouble free for over 3 years, with great handling, comfort, and an excellent SH_AWD system and outstanding ELS Stereo system. I can buy my MDX with 22.5 K miles on it for $38,400 by Febuary 15, 2025, Lease another new 25 MDX (A-Spec Advance ) or go for another vehicle on the List. I intend to test drive this one with the Turbo vs the new CX50 Hybrid too. But I have a feeling I will enjoy this ride more. PSS....f the new 25 Acura RDX went with their new TouchScreen, That would have received more serious consideration I am impressed with 23/29 MPGs on the Mazda vs 19/25 MPGs on the MDX. In my experience driving in Suburbia primarily, my MDX returns about 13-14 MPGs in City/ Suburban - nowhere near the EPA Number ratings.

I much prefer my outback over this or any SUV out there, and as for the infotainment system, Subaru as a whole does it much better than anybody else by integrating the system into the dash instead of having it look like a separate piece.... I don't like the positioning or placement of most of the infotainment systems in other vehicles, to me they look out of place... and as far as any other aspect, I still choose my outback over anything else, hence the reason I got one, did a lot of research, and looked at a lot of SUVs, and when it was all said and done, nothing impressed me more than the outback.... to use one of your phrases, the only "ZONK" I will give the outback, and actually not just the outback, but most newer cars these days, is the STUPID auto start/stop feature which in my opinion serves no purpose other than to be annoying, which is exactly what it is, in my opinion.... they say it saves gas, that's a crock, for the very, very, minute amount of gas, you "might " be "saving", you can put that little bit of pocket change towards the purchase of a new starter more often.... other than that the outback, again in my opinion, is the best overall crossover on the road, value, comfort, safety galore, and a consumer reports recommended, ads up to a great crossover... that's what I consider the outback, a crossover between an SUV and a station wagon
