I have the exact car with a Tip. As much as I wanted the manual, I couldn't pass up the deal I got on mine with 44k miles. The same car/mileage in a manual would have been $40k USD more. Hopefully the Tips go up in value as well, especially since it has the Mezger.

For me, the turbo is best with an auto box - so much power, no need for a manual. My 981 was a sweet manual car, but in the turbo I prefer an auto

The manuals are worth more money probably because it’s more exhilarating. We don’t mind the auto box but purest want manual. The 981 is such a great car. How many miles have you done in it?

@ thanks for your reply! I loved my 981, such a sweet car and was my 60 mile commute daily driver for 4 years. Then had a 996 turbo which was so impressive in a different way. 981 better on the A roads and beautiful sound, 996 turbo brutal mid range punch! Sold it for a classic Aston Martin DBS Vantage but miss a great daily driver - so thinking maybe 997.1 turbo next?
