I also had a liquifire 1980 440. It had the bog. CRANK SEALS!

Mikuni 101. I just set them as long as possible where the sled still starts cold. I grew up riding a pair of liquifires.

The only choke plunger adjustment you need to be concerned with is that there is a bit of cable slack in each one when they are all the way down/off. There is no choke adjustment per say. You adjust those AFTER carb idle and sync is set properly!. ...43 yrs. Snowmobile service tech...

I was thinking old gas for the bogging problem. Your right about the choke cable adjustment.

50yo. choke plungers? Hold the phone. Yep, have'em right here. 😄 Glad you finally got some white. I finally git my buddy coming to take my sled in and check her out. Harder to slings skills than snow. Plus no garage. 😄

I am not a Kawi guy, stay away from them, they are fussy little SOBs. The Liquifire bog is a well known issue, glad to see you had some success.

Great video! Now give it a bath, it's too dirty looking.
