The CME Widi Uhost is a Midi USB host and wireless Bluetooth Midi BLE device, which means it can connect a Midi controller that has a Midi USB port to a wireless BLE Bluetooth Midi device... but is it worth buying?

It could be usbc to usbc in the widi host for connecting my midi device?

It seems like there's still a ton of cables involved, especially if the MIDI controller does not provide MIDI power. I have less wires if I just connect my iPad's USB C directly to my audio interface and it's a whole lot cheaper. I can only see an advantage if the MIDI host/module has MIDI power, but most do not. I'd rather spend the $/£60 on the Apple USB-C multi port adapter and be guaranteed a rock solid connection. And the audio interface is going to give me a ton of other connectivity, not just MIDI... all with just one cable.

When using the uHost with the NI keyboard, were you able to use the keyboard native functionality with the Native Instruments software or does it connect as a generic MIDI device?

@henrimartelmusic When using the uHost, it's the uHost that is detected not the M32, so the Native instruments functionality of Komplete kontrol is not activated. The M32 therefore only connects as a generic midi device.

Xuan Le Hi, after a few tests, I can now confirm that in my tests the Widi Uhost did not work with a USB hub, so I am gonna say no, you can't connect multiple devices through a multiport USB hub with a Widi Uhost.
