Side note… I love how comprehensive your videos are, but the lighting is kind of crazy. The finish of the guitars look green. Not sure what’s going on, but thought I’d point it out in car you didn’t know.

I’m partially colour blind. So my eyes don’t really compensate properly. I also like things to look dark. I’m well aware and unbothered by it. Cheers -Ryan

That looks like a Tribute. No speed knobs. More traditional finish. I dig it. Also, thanks for comparing the pups with Custombuckers. The 490 just seem hotter than the Custombuckers (more volume from 490s). Otherwise, the tones aren’t massively different. .. at least not when going through drive.

I HATE speed knobs haha! Any guitar that I’ve ever bought with speed knobs generally gets Top Hat Knobs immediately. I’m looking to get a 1954 VOS, which has speed knobs, I don’t know what I’ll do haha! Cheers -Ryan
