Bought one in October. Actually the e-clutch is equally desirable for track riders, as it basically eliminates the need for clutching/blipping while downshifting, especially while braking down the straight into a usual hairpin turn one. This means about 25% less to think about, which is especially important to a novice group rider like me trying to get used to braking hard at the track.

Beautiful bike. I was drooling over it there yesterday when I was there to get my oil changed. It’s on my short list.

What else is on your short list? We will get Dalton to do a video on that next!

you can also shut off the E-clutch entirely by disabling it which will have the CBR650R be a traditional motorcycle. I personally did that when I first got the bike, now that I am super comfortable with the clutch I turned back on the e-clutch just for those oh shit moments .

When you cut off the e-clutch does the clutch feel like a normal clutch? Meaning it’s not loose?
@M40A1Snipes8 күн бұрын
@@stratos5326 yes feels more like a traditional clutch. I highly recommend getting on a 650R 2024 and testing it. while the E-clutch is active, that loose feeling is semi noticeable, but you get used to it pretty quickly. when the E-Clutch is completely cut off, it feels like a traditional sports bike.

I would compare this bike to the multi-cylinder bikes such as the Yamaha MT09/R9, the Suzuki GSXS1000GT, the CFMOTO 765, the Kawasaki Z900, and the Triumph Daytona 660. All those bikes are above 80 hp and around 10K (yes, even the Suzuki). This Honda is considerably more expensive than any of the twin-cylinder 650's for sale.

People would want Yamaha R6 but it's not available so you can see people better buying a ZX6 with 122HP.😮

Clearly you don't understand eclutch...you still have to manually shift!

It,s a nice bike , bud a bit slow. Just buy a cheap 600 cbr from 2002 and it rides better than this new bike. Said😢 bud true. Safes you alot off money.

Yea I realize I kept saying manual when I meant automatic 🤦♂️ that’s what happens when you try to cram a bunch of knowledge about different bikes right before making videos 😂
