Good review. Can you tell me how if the engine is noisy when going up long hills or pulling briskly out of a junction? Some reviewers say it's very noisy due to the CVT gearbox. Thanks

whats the towing weight? is it 750Kg braked?

Great review, Tim. It's what Clarkson would call a 'big old Hector', soft-roading only. I'm not sure the hybrid-petrol power train works for these big buses - small hatchbacks, yes, but a larger vehicle is still better off with an efficient turbo diesel. Personally, I'd have the Civic, every time.

@@shieldaigbencher Excellent. I've just traded in my fourth Honda for a Hyundai Ioniq, but the CRV is certainly imposing, and it will be reliable. Enjoy it!

I just discovered your channel and I must say it was a very good review very well presented. The only things I would question is your thoughts that a diesel would be better or a full electric for longer journeys. Unfortunately, diesel cars are being demonized and the problems with electric are very off putting. Initial cost, higher insurance, range anxiety, poor resale value, poor infrastructure, much harder on tyres, need I go on?

Nice review Tim. I’ve driven these. But my opinion is the German bmw, Audi, Mercedes are of a better build and feel quality. Robust. Less plastic looking inside to.
