Trump has talking points but certainly NOT policies - in a few weeks he will be saying something quite different on the same topics... Its incredibly foolish to think this trial and Trump's behavior in it isn't costing him with independents and moderate non-MAGA Republicans and especially with women. Law and order actually counts for a large part of the electorate, when he's convicted (which seems inevitable - considering he has no reasonable defense) it will be a bigger impact still.
