I honestly have not seen the spiderverse films since I still have yet to see the first one on a streaming service I have! I did see the Tom Holland trilogy though! No Way Home was so entertaining! I'm a huge Andrew Garfield fan too so I was happy to see his Spidey get some more screentime and even some closure!

Glad to hear you say that the multiverse in B3 was pointless. It didn’t do anything but give us ways to watch a character we perceived to be invincible get killed by stupid plot devises. I have serious multi-verse burn out. It’s overplayed in media these days. And it especially seems pointless when everyone returns to the status quo at the end. Everyone back in their own universe like breaking all of reality has such fixable consequences

Ooh this was very well done! I'm sure there are tons of other games and movies with multiversal implications, but I'm blanking on them right now. (Literally the only one that's popping into my head RN is Undertale lol 🙈🙈) I agree with your assessment of Dr. Strange 2 tho. Tbh it barely felt like there was a mutliverse at all, except for a few moments, including the ones you had mentioned. It just kinda felt like a way to shoehorn in cheeky references to other characters, rather than a means to tell the story. And as much as I love Wanda, I gotta agree with you: she could have been much more powerful and threatening, but ultimately she was watered down and reduced to your average villain, complete with plot-driven power scales (the true multiversal threat - the plot lol). I also agree with your points on EEAAO. That movie was off the walls in all the best ways! Also Michelle Yeoh is just the best. There's a reason she's one of my top kung fu idols 😄 But in that movie, the multiverse was VERY present, to the point where at times I honestly couldn't keep track of where I was (in the multiverse), but I think that was kind of the point lol. I think IF Dr. Strange 2 were to do a better job with the multiverse, they should have leaned more into the concept of "forget everything you think you know," especially since that was such an important part of Strange's development in the first movie. The existence of a multiverse has so many philosophical connotations to it, as you mentioned in the "no currency" section. Why not explore that? Why not do what EEAAO did and explore whether or not there are rules, or if those rules matter, and then have that be the way Strange gets the power to defeat Wanda (or the other way around)? I'm literally buzzing with ideas. Talk of multiverse always gets me excited, especially after finally seeing EEAAO haha. There's so much potential in telling a story with one. You just gotta figure out how to best do it. All in all, another superb video. Well done! 😊

OMG MY FAVORITE KZbinR IS BACK AGAIN! Multiverses huh? Well let's see I think my favorite is super smash bros cus I love so many of those characters! I wish we had more cutscenes tho I really love the wii version that one had a lot Also you're so right! I think multivetses can he meaningful if their done right! Just needs to be emotional and still down to earth in its own way! Keep up these awesome new videos I love them!

"The Legend of Heroes: Trails" is probably the best rpg game series as a MCU. Each games are interconnected in multilple different Arc. It's difficult to not start this game series with the first title. Liberl Arc: Trails in the Sky 1-3 Crossbell Arc: Trails Into Zero/Azure Erebonia Arc: Trails of Cold Steel 1-4 Epilogue of the Crossbell and Erebonia Arc: Trails Into Reverie 😁

I don't agree about Bayonetta learning nothing from the death of the multiverse characters. A very relevant sub-plot about 3 is how she progressively learns that in order to do the right thing for the safety of the world you need to sacrifice things you love if necessary. The game goes to show she didn't want to kill Jeanne at first but she had to (which is why Egyptian Jeanne does it for her), later while still hesitant she kills French Rosa and finally she sacrifice herself to finally defeat singularity even though her power got drained and summoning Gomorrah ended up being fatal. Jeanne and Egyptian Bayo also go through a similar arc. In the previous games Bayonetta was close to her friends but she wasn't willingly ending their lives for the greater good as evidenced by her losing faith in herself after Rosa's death in 1 and desperately trying to reach Balder in 2 even though he sacrificed himself to contain Loptr.

@@johtojonny i think because the only way to stop Homonculi is to face singularity and once someone gets possessed by a Homonculi they are done and need to get killed or else they'll turn into an enemy and an eventual obstacle to save the multi universe. it's basically a zombie apocalypse on that regard, if you don't kill them they'll turn against you anyway.
