I had a 2009 Camry that blew some sort of tube to the oil something or other and I lost all my oil at 87,000 miles on the car. The engine was ruined. Toyota replaced the engine for free and gave me a rental car for a month while the car was being repaired. I now drive a 2019 Camry Hybrid that ‘I totally love. The lesson is what happened to the Equus. It no longer exists and Hyundai went the whole route to a separate luxury brand. KIA isn't going to do that. The K900 isn't meant to be a big seller for KIA. The loss of the V8 is a nogo for me. Until EV's get common enough to where charging isnt an issue, I won't buy a car without a V8

The V6 twin-turbo is actually faster than the V8.

@@RaitisRides I don't care about a luxury car winning drag races, I want no turbo lag and no turbo reliability issues or the oil consumption to keep them healthy. This is a luxury car, not a sports car. These days people forget that they are supposed to be two different vehicles

@@james2042 We still get the V8 for this in Korea. Does any car in this class have a NA V8 these days? I don't think so.

@@johnholst they G90 does lmao. Most cars in the class actually have turbo V8's, but thats a whole other story.

@@james2042 Exactly! Lexus used to offer the V8, but they caved in too. I think you're right. Only the G90 has the NA V8.
