Is the OP-Z the best sequencer ever invented?

Who knows... I haven't tried them all out yet lol. But I will say that I am constantly blown away by how much fun it is to make music on this piece of music tech.

Fun track - maybe it's not the most powerful sequencer out there, but it's my favourite. Add to that the portability, punchy onboard sounds, and sampling (even if it is a little clunky) and the Z is an amazing instrument. And TE might yet surprise us with another update. I'd love to see percentage probability on step and spark components, for instance. Keep making music!

I use it everyday. Lately been experimenting with sending vocals through it. So much fun to mix lyrics with the on board effects and lfo. Always some new idea to try on it! Powerful, and so much fun.

@@Khordmaster so I was playing with chords and the master track, writing a basic song, and then started to freestyle some vocals, which I recorded into a portable Tula microphone, and then lined in on the I/o track. The vocals sounded so good with the OP-Z effects, like chorus and reverb, and then I played around with the lfo and it got crazy

I really wanted an OPZ but got spooked by all the quality control issues. I’m currently using an Elektron Digitakt, it also has an amazing sequencer, no idea if it’s equal to OPZ though!
