My heart sank for you when you stripped the paint off the outer sill only to reveal more filler and another patch; and when you removed that, still more rust on the inner sill that needed to be cut out and replaced. As always, you got on and did the job thoroughly. It would have been nice to see the car primed up, but sometimes time runs out on you and we all need some sleep - even Ryan.

Always blown away by your ability to piece together multiple layers of body work that have just disappeared into dust. Steve, wish you would indicate some idea of the hours you have put into the work involved in these episodes. I know this does not take two minutes to do and I appreciate the awesome work you do. Keep up the great videos but please share the time involved as it would help us relate to what’s gone on 👍
@yorkshirecarrestoration Жыл бұрын
If I get the time I will but it's all we can do making these videos as they are, me and Ryan are streched to the limit just getting g these videos out in the current format and still trying to keep them entertaining. Ryan is working 7 days a week and every hour he has free and editing one 20 min videos takes two days, even the royalty free music that feels right for the video takes hours to find. We are however always trying to improve our videos but it's a slow process as we are very limited on time :)
@deanso67 Жыл бұрын
@@yorkshirecarrestoration i appreciate the time that goes into it Steve, I don’t know how you do it all. Appreciate all you do keeping us entertained and the craft and skill you have. Keep up the good work you’ve become my favourite channel, I could watch you for hours. Watched a guy - Sylvester Customs - Steve - he does bodywork. I do bodywork all day every day same as you do - I've an Escort Mexico just finished for a customer - rust repairs. That Escort went out with bodywork straighter than George Clooney due to learnings from Sylvester Customs. I had it all primed - somewhere else is painting it - I painted one small bit to see how it would look. Absolute glass.. You'd like his videos - don't care how great anyone thinks they are, what they know, always be learning. I know you're a bright guy - check out a few of Travis's videos - the guy has different ideas to the usual. He can teach even old dogs new tricks that bring extra money to the table.

@Tobi-In9xr @yorkshirecarrestoration It's from the days where Vauxhall and Opel products were sold in the UK side by side. Some models didn't ever get a Vauxhall badge.
