I mastered Crash on RetroAchievements, first time I ever played the original, having grown up with Wrath of Cortex on GameCube. My thumbs were beginning to blister on certain levels. Not even thanks to the difficulty of the achievements, they were perfectly crafted. 100%ing the game at all was painful, haha. Still don't regret it though! Will be doing the sequel and the rest of the series eventually.

@@SherwoodSou It's got a set on PS2 as well! People give Wrath of Cortex a bad rep, but I loved it as a child. As a GameCube kid, it's a super exciting time for me, RA finally reaching my childhood console, with Wii undoubtedly soon to follow. My points are gonna skyrocket, haha, I'll be playing so many of the sets, ones from my childhood, and ones I've always wanted to play but could never find the excuse to make time for. Starting with one of my favorites, Star Fox Adventures, god what a beautiful game. Also, props to you on making RA content in general! I've always thought it was a totally untapped market, there's plenty of content on twitch, but almost no KZbinrs making videos about it at all, mainly due to it being quite unknown. It depends on how far you want to go with it, I’ve 101% it without back tracking more than twice and I don’t call myself very good at video games, thinking about doing a speed run at some point

The only way you can save your game in the original Crash 1 is by completing a bonus round or collecting a gem. That's it. That is one of the reasons why Crash 2 is better in every single way.
