Great video man, good to learn about the Polivoks which I had never heard of before. Love the heavy gnarliness indeed. How would you rate it versus the Oberheim OB1? Respect.

I don't have any direct experience with the OB1 so it's hard to say. No doubt the Polivoks has its own voice

One of the best things about Behringer clones is MIDI. A desktop Polyvox with MIDI, would be fantastic. I tend to avoid synths without MIDI since MIDI is an integral part of my setup. I have two Arturia KeyStep Pros linked together to run all my hardware.

My Polivoks has midi! I just didn't use it in the stream because I felt like playing it, but yeah midi kits are totally cheap for Polivoks!

Omfg. I thought my old ProOne was wild. This is a wailing crunch-resonance machine! I think I or my best friend needs one. Thanks for sharing! -Scum(?)

Everyone who doesn't think they're better than anyone and loves synths is scum in my book!

Just realized that nobody has circuit simulated the polyvoks yet. Time for me to get to work

I still think the MS-20 you have is objectively the best sounding, ripping monosynth!

@@VultureCulture I sold it 😫! I’ll get another one day lol

@toskabyss no really?? What made you decide to sell it?

@@VultureCulture I’m trying to force myself to learn how to play a grid controller as its own instrument, so had to eliminate the distractions. Also been deeply in love with Synth1.
@VultureCultureАй бұрын
@toskabyss yeah I've wondered if I should put more time into learning grid controllers as well. And going vintage plugins! Your journey has been fascinating, and I mean that in a good way. You seem to like an alternation between minimalism and a big bad synth.
