Aloha acnjshink, the PackFish7™ is a bit short in length to paddle while standing. Short hulls tend to yaw (swing side to side). Which is why we paired it with a set of oars and added tracking strips to the underside. However, the easy swing/rotation of the PF7 means you can swing an immediate 180° to give you a quick view of what's behind you and in my case when using a fish finder. I can put myself right back on top of the fish! I am also going to try poling it in skinny water for sight fishing. Keep an eye out for the video!
