Is the Segway ZT3 Pro Worth It?

A few notes from Segway: -Top speed of 25 mph (this is US only) Other regions may have different speeds. -Regarding acceleration, there's a Boost Mode. Hold the right brake lever three seconds to activate; sort of a "launch mode" that improves acceleration, but it is temporary.

What You Wanted To Know @Authen... Set the activation speed to over 1.86mph! 😉👌 If you set the motor activation to less than 1.86 mph, then the scooter will go into PARK after 6 seconds stopped. I have one. It will always depend on whether the route has many climbs, but in general, in the Sport mode which is 25km/h, maximum speed, I use allways that, you can get between 30 to 35 km of range, with a 100% charge.

@@robertocarlos3234 25km speed will give you max 30Km with 90% of chance! And in a forest this will be 20km. I tested this. 560Wh is just a sick joke for this scooter.

It is a great looking scooter at a reasonable price, at least in US dollars. I haven't seen the Canadian pricing as yet and hopefully it will be somewhat competitive with similar products. I like that it is a good road commuter scooter with a nice touch of "off-road" capability built-in. The build quality looks quite good and I like the fact that it is a brand name product that hopefully will provide solid service and spare parts availability. The only item on my wish list at this point in time would be for a removable battery. Being able to purchase a second battery to extend the range would be a nice option , and here in Canada I wouldn't be using the scooter in winter months so it would be nice to be able to store the scooter in my garage and to keep the battery in my house. Also, a removable battery would be nice when loading the scooter into a vehicle as I could load the battery separately from the scooter. Overall, a very nice looking product.

I can’t see myself going over 40 miles on a scooter that does 25 mph. I think this raises the bar for mid level entry scooters. Segways first array into off pavement, light off-road focused scooters. It will probably hold up better than the sub-$600 gotrax, hiboys an Nui rides

I've got a scooter that does 25 mph for a fraction of the price only $550 range is only about 20 miles which is more than plenty, i got a car for longer distances

sometimes I wonder if segway is a good brand anymore, amazon lists lot of theirs as frequent returned item, as thats not good thing, lot of scooters on amazon are like that, Hard to find a actual good quality one. They look nice when youtubers review them, but i wonder in the long run to a year of use.
