I put dual compound seals on my 2010 xc150. It had never had the forks done and it was grim, the seals reduced friction. Small bumps like rocks around 5cm big no longer were felt through the bars.

i Have 250 x 450 X 450 L Sherco 300 2 smoke and 300 4 stoke the 300 is my favourite single track bike so fast and its a scalpel

SKF seals are dang good, but I can buy 3 sets of the regular seals for the same price, and the SKF seals develop leaks just as often. If you're racing, get the SKF, the weekend warriors probably don't need them ;-)

I get 40 hours on my dual compounds and that's strict racing hours. You got something going on.

@krazed0451 If your going through the standard durometer seals in 40 hrs and not racing exclusively in the mud that's very fast unless you're bottoming hard frequently

@@lukekelly5115 I pretty much exclusively ride mud and dusty conditions, 40hrs is about on par with everyone I know doing similar riding. 70/30 mix of hard enduro and regular enduro riding, the suspension gets a worn out! I pop the dust seals every 5-10 hours for a clean too 😉

@@mikeking7388 Same, i have a 300XC and a KX250X and more often than not, i ride the KX in the woods. I only prefer the 300 in super gnarly terrain or big hill climbs, other than that i'll take the 4T.

On top of it feeling like a 250 but having more power and handling really nice in the technical stuff, it's really the whole package you get with Sherco that makes it amazing. They are not cheap bikes, but you get KYB suspension, full Akrapovic exhaust with titanium header pipe, excel rims, brembo brakes and clutch, galfer brake discs, coolant expansion tank, radiator fan etc. all these things come stock.

definitely not, ktm is in the shit now bcs of their strategy. Sherco had profit last year KTM lost 90milions.
